No one game stands out. Virtually every time he played he was a colossus. I agree that previous to the Beat or since, very few people would get excited about going to watch a defender play. Awesome player. |

Please can we have more politicians like Mr Raskin in the UK? In fact please can we have more politicians like Mr Raskin in the world. |

My point is that had management really wanted to keep those six players they could have negotiated better terms, but they didn’t. Let’s all hope the many replacements do gel really quickly and prove management right. |

Other than Delap and Hutchinson, it was the managements choice to let the rest go, Luongo, Morsy, Tuanzebe, Broadhead, Burgess, Ogbene, Chaplin, Woolfenden. Probably a few I have missed. I really hope to be proved wrong but at the moment we have ripped up a very good Champioship team and replaced it with some undoubtably good players who at the moment do not resemble anything like a team. Had Harry Clark and Wes Burns not been injured, I think they too would have gone. |

Burgess and Morsy leaving were really disappointing but in particular with Morsy you could understand from his point of view why a big move made sense. But losing Chaplin to me makes no sense at all. Still one of our best attackers, full of drive, capable of the unexpected, still a top Championship player. To my mind none of the new kids on the block have done anything like enough to take his place. Even on Saturday thought he was our best player in the first half looking to unlock a stubborn defence. Good luck to him, a superb ambassador for the game and by all accounts a really good guy. |

You really need to work on your grammar and spelling. |

He’s moved to pastures new and will soon forget about little old Ipswich Town. It was a shame it ended how it did, I am prepared to think/hope it was poor advice from others. But what a privilege to have seen him turn up 2 years ago and develop into a superb player that he will be. I hope he remembers that ITFC have been a huge part of his development and I for one wish him all the best in his future career, unless he over celebrates if he scores against us and starts kissing the badge! |
 | Forum Reply | So McKenna has laid it out, black and white then... at 23:23 12 Aug 2025
Surely this should now be the case. Hutchie has said he is not in the right place to be able to play for us. That’s his choice, although to be fair he contributed along with everyone else to us being back in the Championship. Surely if you down tools at your place of work and break your contract then your employer has the right not to pay you? |

Everyone knew what was coming our way at Birmingham, in fairness we did well to come away with a point. We all know that Carabou Cup we will play our second team and unless you are Liverpool or Man City our second team is barely League 1 especially when they never play together. |

So backing them for the last 12 months didn’t work and we got relegated from probably the best league in world football. So this season let’s not back them and give them loads of grief every time they don’t win a game. Smart. |

I absolutely agree. I love Omari and hope he has a great career. But ITFC and McKenna and the coaches have improved him and coached him to be what he is today. He and his agent need to honour the contract he was happy to sign with us and if someone comes in with an offer that Ashton thinks is worthy then fine let’s part on good terms. Any player angling for a move by saying they are not willing to play does not sit well with me. |

Can’t see it happening. They seem determined that Crawley is the right man for Australia. (They may be right, not sure) |

Need to get Rahul early or he can just hold an end and cruise them to victory. Thought Carse bowled superbly at the end of the day. |

One misplaced pass in a game with probably 100 missed passes. Can’t hang it all on him. Cool finish though. |
