He’s looked crap so far this season so you’d imagine he’ll get dropped soon if his form doesn’t pick up.
He needs to stick to what he’s good at, holding the ball up and laying it off for our other attackers, pressing defenders, and making clever runs off the ball to create space for others. Looks to me at times like he’s trying to copy how Delap played last season which obviously isnt his game at all. |

I suspect Johnson will start more at home when we need his energy and want to be a bit more attacking and Young will start more on the road when we want to keep things tight as Johnson is worse defensively |

Not uncommon for clubs to register 23/24 players though to leave a spot or two open for a free agent signing, so he could still be alright.
I imagine he probably suspected he’d have been snapped up by someone by now though so probably is a bit worried/disappointed. |

McKenna probably remembers the ‘performance’ he put in against us for Huddersfield on the day we were promoted.
