The abysmal gutless and lack of desire performances that have been regular this season certainly wouldn't happen under Terry and Lampard .

Don't overly think these two will make much of a difference if they play at all , what we need now and have for 6 years is a nasty hard ball winning midfielder who dominates games and protects the back four . Personally dont think we have played that well for last 4 games with this formation losing two and struggling in other 2 , whilst still getting wins .
Maybe time to revert back to 442 for a game with same back 5 and midfield of Sears , Huws , Dozzell , Edwards (if he has to rest Bishop) with Hawkins and Jackson up top . Have two pacy wingers then who can help our aging full backs in defence, and pace attacking with Jackson to stretch them on counter .
For me i would struggle to find a place on the bench for Judge |

If you sign an U21 on loan the wages do not count as part of the salary cap and no agent fee ? Evans is a multi millionaire who could cover a youngsters wages until December if he wanted to .
Jackson and Norwood have been carrying injuries all preseason , Keane has gone so that left us to start the season with only one striker Drinian an untested player at this level and Hawkins signed unfit , compared to having 4 fit centre backs and Donacian who can also cover that role .

For me Norwood is our only natural goalscorer and given a run in the team we are currently playing and creating from midfield he would only benefit so bad timing .
My biggest concern is what we are doing at training as a club as we are getting way more than our share of injuries especially long term over the past few seasons , which has to question out dated training methods , poor medical back up ? |

Personally think it was a very poor pre season , lost majority of games which is not good for confidence , don't think what will be the starting eleven have actually played together once . The back four/ five haven't played together . Think we have a weaker squad than when the season finished . Think the youngsters have been treated strangely to say the least .And don't actually think the manager knows what his best eleven or best formation is yet , which is the most worrying part and will just try and shoe horn in his old pros or who was best at training on Friday before a game .
And if you keep telling yourself everything is good all the time when it isn't and how well we played when we haven't you end up spiralling downwards and losing games , be honest and we will be more likely for success and the fans will appreciate it more |
