Reading these comments is really worrying! Last season it seemed to me that a big part of the reason we had OUR BEST SEASON IN 10 YEARS (MM was the manager, obvious statement but some people need reminding) is because almost everybody (some still found reason to moan) supported the team, creating what at times felt like a tribal atmosphere. My only hope is that TWTD has turned into a website where those who don't go to the games come to vent their frustrations. |

Personally I think town fans are suddenly underestimating just how good David McGoldrick is. He is undoubtably our best player, most creative influence, best goalscorer and all his teammates know this and look to him when things aren't going well. How on earth we managed to pick him up as a free transfer I'll never know but now we've got him we have to do everything we can to hold onto him. |

Irrespective of what or who he looks like Paul Green's comments highlight for me once again why McCarthy is the best thing to happen to this club in the last ten years. For me this season was always going to be a strange one, we were never going to be fighting relegation under McCarthy yet our limited budget meant that our squad was never going to be quite strong enough to keep the consistency you need at the very top of this league. The important thing is that we are finally showing some small signs of progression and after however many seasons of below average mediocrity you have to say this season so far has been a huge improvement. |

I'm not one to question McCarthy but the absence of Taylor from the Millwall game really confused me. I personally would like to see him and Hunt in the wide positions tomorrow as I think with a defensive minded player like Chambers at right back we can afford to have someone more attacking in front of him. |
