 | News Comment | Al-Hamadi West Brom Move Breaks Down at 22:09:15
I think he needs to go on loan somewhere where he's going to be main man and play as much football as possible. He needs it as his confidence is shot and he looks woefully unfit. A top half League One club would fit the bill - I think that will prove to be his level with the passage of time. Get him scoring some goals so we can move him on in the summer and write this one off as a rare poor signing by McKenna. I don't see anything in him to suggest he'll be a top level player, not even top half Championship (the WBA interest surprised me to say the least). He didn't particularly impress me last season in the Championship. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: No Doubt It's a Crucial Match But Must-Win Doesn't Really Mean Anything at 00:41:52
I know McKenna's got to take the pressure off his players but this is very much a 'must win' game, there's no two ways about it. A quarter of the season is gone, we've got only 4 points and few home fixtures will be more winnable (on paper) than this one. Anything less than 3 points won't cut it given the opponents to follow. |
 | News Comment | Muric Dismissed From Kosovo Squad at 16:16:20
Muric is no stranger to getting the boot from the Kosovo camp for breaching rules. This doesn't paint a picture of a good character off the pitch and, I must say, I'm far from convinced by him on the pitch either. |
 | News Comment | Hladky Offered Burnley Deal at 21:29:52
I can totally understand the he and/or his family would wish to return home but FK Jablonec seems like a strange move. There's little money in the Czech league and Jablonec are a small team in the top flight (stadium: 6000). I can't believe they are able to offer anything like what Burnley/Ipswich put on the table. Best of luck to him wherever he ends up. |
 | News Comment | Town Confirm Hladky Exit at 12:13:19
He had the season of his life and we should always be thankful for his contribution to what was one of the best sides in our history. Some genuinely world class saves and many contributions to goals starting with ball at his feet. An excellent footballer in his own right I wish him all the best for the future. That said, I don't believe he would have cut it in the Premier League. The mistakes - of which there were many - would have been ruthlessly punished at this level. He would have been a part of the Czech squad at the Euros and not merely a pundit if he was considered Premier League standard by their national coach. We need a 'keeper with some experience of either the PL or a top European league. |
 | News Comment | Baggott Set For Bristol Rovers Loan at 18:05:04
Great for both parties. He's going to get very limited opportunities here and isn't really learning anything. At 21 he needs to be getting as much football as possible. Hopefully he comes back all the better for the experience and can push for first team football next season. |
 | News Comment | Page: Burns Pulled Hamstring at 21:13:48
These things happen. Burns wants to represent his country and these games aren't pointless to him. Hopefully he's not out for too long. |
