Johnson: We've Done the Club Proud
at 14:26:16

I like Johnson. I think he's one that doesn't necessarily stand out as being exceptional in the Premier League, but in the Championship next season will look far too good for that level. Actually quite excited to see the damage he'll do at that level.

Town Hutchinson Offer Expected - Report
at 15:28:14

I'm sorry but anything up to £30m we simply have to pay. He's 20-years-old. Even if he has a poor season, he still retains that value. If he has a good season, his value doubles or potentially even triples.
Best case scenario, he does really well and gets us a second year in the Premier League worth another £150m to us. Worst case scenario, we go down, sell him and recoup our money.

Didn't cause them a problem - but had a perfectly legitimate goal chalked off, hit the bar and missed from six yards. Don't know what game he was watching!!

Dobra Nets Stunner But Chesterfield's Ex-Blues Lose On Penalties at Wembley
at 08:57:42

I was really disappointed in Paul Cook for abandoning his team at the moment they needed a leader the most. Grateful for him clearing the decks here, the club needed that re-set, but also grateful Mark Ashton had the balls to get rid of him and replace him with someone who is just so superior in every department in McKenna.

What's the point? Not everyone wants to go to football to sing. If that's what you want, go to a concert. Some people are happy just going to watch their football and they shouldn't be chastised for doing that.

Weird that the Harness goal wasn't shown. Surely the key moment of the whole game? Should be included in all its glory for the referee to look back and squirm at.

The Cashless Debate
at 13:25:23

I think it's not so much about whether it's difficult for many, it's more about a wider concern for everything going cashless. And there certainly are some moral/social issues surrounding it, which people are understandably concerned about.

McKenna: Donacien a Joy to Work With
at 14:56:39

I could honestly sit there all day and read quotes from McKenna talking about quantum physics and the different speeds at which paint dries, and still be totally engaged and interested. What a great guy he must be to have as your manager.

Town Closing in On Carroll
at 12:50:58

Absolutely no chance a player of that calibre is coming in as back-up! He's here to compete very much as one of three players vying for two starting positions, and he may very well force his way into one of them. Nice bit of experience as well, and a player who's spent a lot of time at massive clubs where the very best standards of how players should conduct themselves are set. I'd still love to see a proper experienced centre-back come in - someone who's played at big clubs before as well. Would be nice to think the Jagielka link isn't completely dead in the water. As much as I'd love Cahill, I think he's likely to be significantly out of our budget.
