Shameless plug.... (sorry)!
at 06:55 25 Sep 2021

Thanks mate, I don’t know my number yet. I’ll be collecting it from the Expo next Friday! Maybe I should wear an ITFC hat or something to get a few “Blue Army” shouts!

Shameless plug.... (sorry)!
at 11:34 24 Sep 2021

Hi everyone... in just over a week's time, I'm running the London Marathon.

I'll be running on a charity place in aid of a charity very close to my heart, Retina UK.

The charity supports all people in the UK living with inherited sight-loss, from conditions such as Retinitis Pigmentosa, Stargardt Disease and Usher Syndrome. Currently, around 25,000 people are affected.

The money raised will not only help to support individuals suffering from sight-loss and blindness, but will also enable pioneering research to continue, that will hopefully one day find a cure for many of these conditions.

I'd be grateful if you could find it within your hearts to pledge whatever you can at my fundraising page: https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/WilliamTaylorLondonMarathon/3

Thank you!

Sky coverage of the Norwich game
at 14:12 22 Sep 2021

This is as bad a Norwich side as they've had in the last decade, so the decline might just be beginning to set in. They were fortunate last season to have Buendia in the Championship, who was far too good for that level, and Pukki was still getting goals. The trouble is, their key assets are either getting older now or moving onto bigger and better things. If they go down and don't get back up within two seasons, they will really begin to struggle.

U18s Coach Jason Leaves Blues to Watch Son Andre at QPR
at 11:29 30 Jul 2021

Really interesting read this. Yet another ex-player stating just how badly the club was run under Evans. We'll hear more and more of this I'm sure. Can't help but think if Andre was just breaking through now, under the new regime, with different structures in place, his career could have gone in a completely different direction. That said, he'll be playing in the Championship next season, so good luck to him.

Lee O’Neil actively denying any sort of takeover?

Paul Cook will be the biggest clue.

No way would he come here to have no budget under Evans. He'll only turn down Championship clubs for us if he knows he can really build something here.

If they brought success back to this football club, I couldn't care less who they were kidnapping in the Middle East!

Who would accept a more defensive approach v Pboro?
at 22:34 17 Dec 2020

In any league in the world, a hard-earned point away to your promotion rivals is a fantastic result.

Treat it like a cup final, stay compact and organised, and hit them on the counter. Doesn't matter that it's only Peterborough - right now we're only a League One team with League One standard players too.

That's the first one.

Backroom staff announced as leaving at lunchtime.

By dinner, the big announcement we've all been waiting for.

Am I the only one who wasn't too discouraged by Saturday?
at 12:30 26 Oct 2020

If that game had finished 0-0 we'd all be praising a hard fought draw away to a good side. Ultimately they won it on the back of a very soft penalty, and we didn't have the ref on our side at all, so we just have to dust ourselves down and move on.

No major changes, but there are a couple of fitness doubts and drops in form. However, this is what I'd go with:

-----------------------------------------HOLY-----------------------------------------

CHAMBERS----------------NSIALA---------WILSON----------------KENLOCK

-----------------DOZZELL------------NOLAN------------BISHOP-----------------

-----------------BENNETTS--------HAWKINS--------EDWARDS----------------

I know this is something that divides at the best of times, but I have to say I was very impressed with Bayern Munich's choice last night. Every time they scored they played the Can Can! Very sophisticated!

So Dobra has decided to stay and fight for his place...
at 10:44 16 Oct 2020

Wise or foolish?

Personally, I think it's a great show of character from the lad, but now he's got to go and show the manager how serious he is about getting into the team. If he's not the first person to arrive in the morning, and the last to leave at night, then he's wasted an opportunity.

If we're assuming Edwards has pretty much nailed down the left-wing, I'd say that right-wing is still there for the taking. I'd like to see Lambert give him a game and see what he can do there. I think he's got a lot of potential but now's the time to show it.

He's a deep lying play maker and is fantastic at it. No further discussion needed.
