| News Comment | Town Announce New Boro Prices at 16:53:17
My first reaction was charge a nominal couple of quid to those who can & want to make it to the rearranged game to establish which seats can be resold thereby avoiding a half empty stadium . Obviously Clegg & co were thinking along the same lines but made the extra charge. I make a round trip of nearly 200 miles but stayed over in a hotel because of weather problems. I'm not really sure I should expect a refund for that though |
| News Comment | Town 1-2 Wolves at 20:51:16
First half we were easily the better team - Wolves turned it around when their subs came on Have to admit that Bowyer played well, also Edwards was excellent apart from the pen. Cresswell & Ingimarsson looked solid & JET showed promise - would prefer him in the centre where he could use his aerial ability for Chopras benefit. Martin was ok apart from greedy with his final ball but I still think Leadbitter is the weak link. |
| News Comment | Jewell: Lack of Confidence Led to Long Balls at 15:46:51
Sounds just like the kind of guy we need to erase the bad memories of the Keane era. Now lets rid ourselves of everything associated with the past couple of years including all those on here who supported him & his methods and bad singings (Leadbitter etc) and not mention the name of RK again |
| News Comment | Staff Advice Led to Martin Recall at 11:48:02
Talentless waste of money - another of Keanes bad decisions along with the ineffective Leadbitter. Of Keane's 'big buys' only Priskin is worth keeping |
| News Comment | Keane Leaves Town at 08:11:25
Now lets move forward. All those abusive Keane fans please leave with him. Those of us who have wanted him top go for so long for the good of our club are the true supporters. Jewell & Hughton mentioned as favourites on SSN |
| News Comment | Keane Set for Target Talks at 13:59:28
Poor location? Move somewhere else then Mr Keane. & please don't let him loose with the cheque book again.Keep the cash back for the next manager |
| News Comment | Town Dismiss Bust-Up Claim at 15:49:23
Whatever the truth or otherwise about this I am now convinced that RK's prime concern is not the success of our club. The issues he develops with players are far more important to him. 'Won't play for this club again' rings familiar, * I'm sure that personal prejudices have led to some of his more illogical decisions : David Wrights omissions, the sales of Jordan Rhodes & Owen Garvan for peanuts etc etc. The comment has also been made about RK being ME's publicity machine with his many TV appearances & on the basis that there's no such thing as bad publicity could cetainly be the reason for RK's non-dismissal.(I can't think of any other reason if its not purely financial) All of which means that none of the people running the club are interested in anything other than self-interests. |
| News Comment | Keane Fires Warning to Reserves at 13:43:13
It's becoming increasingly more apparent that our dear club is in complete disarray, both in terms of our playing ability & our ambitions. You would have thought that with the money RK has spent we would have a decent team and reserve squad. We started the season with 4 potential top class players : Garvan,Walters Rhodes and Wickham. Connor's certain to be the last to leave in Jan. Even the most ardent Keane supporter must admit that despite the spending the club has gone backward since his arrival. |
| News Comment | Keane: Forest Defeat Much Like Watford at 15:14:37
Spot on ChambersM. Unfortunately it became obvious from the outset that Keane dislikes ball-players.That's why us long-term supporters who 'don't know what we're on about' cannot support what's happening - it's not just about lack of results - that would be acceptable if we played decent football. While we sign the likes of Leadbitter (who I always said was over-rated even when I was in the minority) and sell our best player Owen Garvan (a great goal yesterday) things will not change. |
| News Comment | Keane Hits Out at Critics at 10:22:59
It seems to me that the only ITFC fans who don't know what they're on about are those that support Keane and his appalling tactics , bad buys , his total dislike of ballplayers & his contradictory comments. |
| Blog Comment | Town Complete Scotland Signing at 10:09:49
Respected player maybe ,crap manager definitely. Leadbitter very over-rated - not in the same class as Garvan. Good luck Jon Walters - our most consistent player over recent years, |
| News Comment | Garvan Fee Agreed at 13:16:07
Thats it I'm afraid - our most talented plyer sold for peanuts. The camels back is in splinters - straw everywhere. This is my last post. Don't call me fickle - i've been a loyal supporter for nearly 40 years but enough is enough. i just hope that when Keane leaves, as surely he must soon, the likes of Blueknight85 & co go with him, they are not true football fans. |
| News Comment | Burley Hopeful He Can Take Garvan to Palace at 14:12:37
naa: its true - those players who have more ability & therefore need less time on the ball are deemed lazy by the mindless majority. Unfortunately our manager seems to appreciate those who 'run around a lot' & puts himself in that category |
| News Comment | Burley Hopeful He Can Take Garvan to Palace at 13:44:58
One thing most ITFC fans have always lacked is football knowledge. This has never been more apparent than their lack of appreciation of our most gifted player. Good luck Owen - you deserve better |
| News Comment | Swansea Linked With Priskin Move at 11:59:56
The surprising thing to me is the number of Keane-lovers who want to get rid of Priskin without conceding that Keane wasted money last year (especially on Martin). Don't they realise that he's just as likely to waste the proceeds again. I say lets hold onto everyone & wait until we have a decent manager who can buy wisely |
