Disaster from start to finish and of his own making! He can't really complain, Evans and Clegg both backed him and he was given the cash to spend. He's not exactly lit up the place with his management skills since he left- which leads me to think that it wasn't so much a bad spell that he went through here- more a reflection of who he really is. |

I believe Mick will turn things around but tonight's match is a stark reminder of how poor the management has been for so long. Like others, I wasn't sad to see the back of Delaney- but he's doing well with Palace as is Garvan. Why are these players doing well elsewhere when they wouldn't/ couldn't perform for us? I hope Cleggy has asked the same question.

This is such a shame- it shows how out of touch Clegg is and what a poor communicator he is. If he understood half of what Town fans are feeling right now, he'd a) have spoken out sooner and b)not ridiculed them by describing things as laughable. I'm ok about Clegg staying so long as they look as if they are learning from what's happened. The club gives the impression that Clegg and Evans are running things between the 2 of them, wasting money- which will have to be paid back and settling with mediocre managers , in whom they put too much trust. Continued mistakes is what is causing the fans and players alike to become disillusioned. Communication needs to improve to show us that they care and know what they're doing! I could go on.... |

callumgarryskeemer, you enjoy your football don't you? I've read a few of your comments over the last few weeks and God forbid the Team should have a bad patch as it is completely re-built/ culture changed/ Manager and coaches changed/ new Chief Exec brought in??! We are a big part of the Ipswich Town Football Club and what the Team and Manager needs is our support. I applauded Keane and the players off the pitch last night and will continue to do so while they work endlessly to get the results we deserve. Those results are just round the corner. |
