Wow, the entire interview suggests a MD who doesn't have much of a clue regarding any aspect of the club. Doesn't know the level of future finance available , doesn't know how many season tickets have been sold, and apparently addidas dictate to their paying customers rather than the other way round! Another observation I would make with regard to his long throws is that when Skuse runs towards you dragging two defenders with him it's not because he wants the ball, that's the time to make the throw! |

Looking at the table we have a buffer of Barnsley, Huddersfield, Peterborough and Wolves.
Barnsley and Huddrsfield need 6 points to go past us (GD considered) WWD or WWL (can't WWW as playing each other).
Peterborough and Wolves need 5 points (WWW, WWD, WWL, WDD).
Add to that the other 6 teams below us trying to avoid relegation.
I can't see the remaining results falling into place for all of those teams, can you? |

Sounds about right, WH probably didn't want him at all, only a means to inject cash into Portsmouth to prevent them going under (and WH losing 6 points).
You have to admire Henderson's agent who saw the deal for what it really was and made WH pay with a 4 year contract!
Now they want rid after just a few months of the season gone.
Hope it's not us that bail WH out of their dubious deal, Loach is no worse.

WarkyWonderLand seems to be the only one to point out what was blindingly obvious at the time of Henderson's loan, then permanent signing by West Ham. They desperately needed to give Portsmouth a cash injection to prevent them from winding up (effectively safeguarding 6 points). WH must be laughing their heads off that they've managed to end up in a position where another club is contributing towards his wages!
Don't hold your breath waiting for that Premier League game to happen,IMO it's not what you were bought for. |
