Some really odd comments on here (I'm looking at you, Orraman).
I would suggest you retired at the right time, the world has moved on and these 'BS' words mean something in the modern world.
Regards making a fast buck, having worked in the pension industry for a few years I don't think you'd last long if that was your guiding principle as a chief investment officer.
Cannot fathom how anyone can see anything negative here. You started it all off, MMTash and everyone else has felt compelled to comment on it (I know, I know....including me).

This is good news, sometimes can't believe it's Ipswich they are talking about!
If a significant rebuild is necessary, you would imagine it would take longer than the close-season. In which case, where would we play our home games? I'm sure Col U would be up for a bit of ground-sharing but that only fits 10k or so.
West Ham? Dare I say it....Norwich?

I bet he wished he never signed for us. I really like Nolan, I think he's a terrific player that's never been able to overcome being in a poor team. We've definitely never seen the best of him. |
