Southampton are still right in it too.
9 points behind Leeds with 2 games in hand and still to play both them and Leicester.
It’s 4 teams for 2 places and means that those games are much harder too.
A win tonight would be so massive for us. |

All of our remaining games are hard ones, but any sort of win tomorrow puts us back on top and heaps pressure on the others.
We need 2 massive efforts from the players who then have a 2 week break to recharge before the last week where we may have Wes and George available from the bench to help too.
Lots more twists and turns to come and hopefully both Leicester and Leeds will drop more points between now and the end of the season.
We rarely do comfortable wins, but one tomorrow would be worth its weight in gold |

We have a 2 week break after Saturday to recharge batteries and get players rested and ready for the last 3 games.
By the time that we play them Coventry and Hull may be effectively out of play off contention too.
The next 2 home games are so important, win them both and we can rest up, possibly even see George and Wes getting back ready to play in that last week which would be a great boost.
At worst (if we win the next 2) we know that 3 wins gets us promoted. |

So many entitled bedwetting fannies on this thread.
We have had 2 of the best seasons since the Robson era, have lost a game where we were flat against that lot from up the road and peoples reaction is pathetic.
Other teams can play better than us and they do not have to do things that we want them to either.
We missed Hirst & Wes massively as they would have offered a different threat. If we end up in the playoffs, hopefully both will be back.
On to Wednesday and another hard game that we can hopefully win to get us back on track.
That 2 week break could be really helpful to us in my opinion leading to the final 3 game push. |

Norwich did a job on us today.
We were poor, but no worse than at Blackburn.
We missed Burns to give us an option on the right.

I don’t think there is.
I’m not sure whether the play off games are included either.
It would be a bit harsh to get a 15th booking on the last game and miss the whole of the playoffs |

Today is a really big game, second long away trip in a week.
If we can win it puts us back in a great position again and heaps pressure on Leicester and Saints |

Cardiff on Saturday is huge as it is another quick turnaround and a long away trip too.
Win that and we have a full week to prepare for Wednesday who will be really tough to play as well.
Then there’s an international break to get the squad rested and ready for the run in.
I think 100 points will be needed to go up automatically which is mental |

That’s another tricky game for us to come after Cardiff.
At least we’ll have had a full week without a game to get the players over fatigue and knocks. |

Stansfield has told Mowbray that he wants to play wide right rather than as a number 9.
If that’s the case, he won’t be coming here. |
