The season of goodwill and all...
at 16:49 20 Dec 2019

Hi everyone,

I'll cut to chase-PaganBlue and I are looking for a lift to the game on Boxing Day from the Great Yarmouth area. Unfortunately the trains aren't running so we currently have no way of getting to the game as neither of us drive. It would really mean a lot to both of us if anyone driving to the game from our neck of the woods would be able to take us. Obviously we'd chip in with petrol money and sort you out with a drink/pie at the game. Hope it's ok to post this here.

Many thanks, here's hoping for three points at Pompey tomorrow and wishing you all a Merry Christmas,

Will

''Every Saturday we follow,
To see the boys in blue,
Champions of England,
Back in 1962,
Bobby conquered Europe,
And we won the FA Cup,
We support the Ipswich,
When we're down and when we're up,
Allez, Allez Allez...''

Think that's right, apologies if any mistakes

Ah someone's beaten me to it

Lovely idea mate, I spoke with Lisa and our friend Nick today and Nick is due to phone the club tomorrow. He's had a conversation with the club already and they are keen to help pay tribute to Oz. Myself and another of Oz's mates are planning to co-ordinate this along with ITFC so we'll keep you lovely people posted.

TLA - One of our own is critically ill: Appreciation Thread/Book
at 18:06 7 Aug 2018

Oz is a legend. When I first met him 5 years ago, he was complete stranger to me. He's become one of the closest people in my life and I've told him many a time that the confidence he gave me and the faith he displayed in me, when I was struggling the most with my mental health, saved me. He's the most generous person I've ever known, the best mentor, listener, role model and a father figure to me (plus he got me following Town!) I've been in bits since I found out. This thread is a measure of the man he is, I'm not surprised so many people have been affected by him being seriously ill, he's the best human being you'll ever meet. Hang in there Oz.
