I really hope we don't go for Billy Sharpe. I lived in Sheffield for two years and regularly went to Sheff Utd games with mates who were fans. He was a massive flop at them, think he only scored something like 8 goals in 50 odd games. He's only been succesful at smaller clubs like Scunthorpe and Doncaster because theres no pressure. At a club like Town with higer expectations he won't cut it!! |

Good win today. Completely agree with some of the comments regarding the so-called town fans. I know ipswich has something of a reputation for simpletons inhabting the place but some of the comments posted on here in the last week espeically aimed at some of the younger players has been a joke. Last week after a few bad results this site was bombarded with negative comments about the team, however now after a decent win theres hardly any positive comments at all. Its time for the moaners to except keanes not going anywhere and get behind the team |

Positive comments by Keano. Can't believe we're only 13 games into a new season and the boring comments about getting rid of Keane have surfaced again from the town prawn sandwidge brigade led by idiots like whoppit. Before the Coventry game we're had only lost to one of the best teams in the league, now after a tough week against two decent teams in Watford and Forest the idiots have returned. Town are a proper club and stick by their managers, so at least judge him by December and not 13 games into a new season. Tuck into your prawn sandwidges and get behind the team instead of this constant moaning. |
