Garvan: I Need to Knuckle Down

I can't believe the criticism Garvan is getting here. Our most creative player who's been performing for years but you think Keane is right to bring in a load of Irish past its, ex Sunderlands and Utd reserves? Take a look at the table. Garvan plays better with better players but dare I say Keane has replaced too many with poor, overpriced alternatives.

Garvan in Irish U21 Squad

Keane seems to want him to play like he did and is too short-sighted to realise that Garvan brings different qualities to the game. And to Muhren; No, I haven't seen a lot of him this season because he hasn't been playing. He's our best player on form but he can't be expected to turn it on when he gets the odd 15 minutes here and there.

Garvan and Stead Could Still Play for Town

Seems to me that Keane craves attention, constantly shouting his mouth off to the press. He can't make a decision and is forever blurting stuff out and backtracking. Plus he keeps changing the team around, giving players 45 minutes here and there to "impress". Stead scores goals and can be a big asset and Garvan is our most creative player but is suffering for not playing the game like Keane did. Fortunately Keane will most likely walk as the going gets tough and we can stop recruiting ex Irish internationals, Man United reserves and average Sunderland players. There are other players to choose from Roy.

Keane: Penalty Miss Crucial

"The penalty miss was a big factor"...another major factor Keane was publicly stating certain players will never play again and embarrassing the club. You just wouldn't hear that from real managers. Another factor is trying to mould everyone into a Roy Keane type player. Owen Garvan is a top player and is suffering because hehe plays a different type of game than Keane did. He's our most creative player and he's probably on his way out cause of a short-sighted manager. Fortunately Keane will probably walk out if things aren't going well so lets hope our next manager can appreciate different players can bring different qualities.
