Kipre is certainly a unit and wouldn’t look out of place on a rugby pitch, but moves quicker and has more ability on the ball than I was expecting. He looks like a good addition. I’d be surprised if theres many championship strikers who’ll bully him. Young added some quality when he came on he may be 40 but I think could prove to be a valuable signing. Was bit disjointed with all the changes and certainly not the level of opponents we had last season but we have some foreward line just need another striker to support Hirst. |

Just got home after taking an over an hour to get out of the park and ride car park, future reference will never park there again. One exit and everyone had to pay on exit until the security guard opened the barrier. What a joke clearly not used to have much of a crowd at Colchester. |

Yes his first touch was dreadful at times. Not mobile enough for us either. No coincidence the minute Hirst was fit he was back starting. Moore helped us out when we were really stuck but would be a big step backwards if we were to sign him. |

No one will forget his goal against Southampton and perhaps if he’d had a good season last year at Burnley but can’t see him being a starter for us and think that’s what he needs now. |

Looks like a good bit of business although I haven’t watched him in Germany looks like the sort of player who could make a real difference to their season. Although I did think the same about Phillips and thought he was a good signing for us. I thought McKenna could get the best out of him but he just couldn’t stay fit for long enough to find any sort of form. Wonder what happens to him now, the only Premiership team I could see being interested would be Leeds and surely that would be for sentimental reasons. Also wonder with Morsy leaving does anyone think giving Mass another year would have been a good idea, if he’d have been interested of course. We look so light in the midfield area at present. I do worry if we rely on Taylor being a starter in the centre of the park. Of course I know there could be other players coming in but not long until the season starts and if we don’t strengthen until the end of the window we could be a few points behind the leaders. | Forum Reply | Rashford - How on earth has he pulled off a move to Barca??? at 21:25 23 Jul 2025
In the last 4 season I think he’s only managed to score double figures in the premiership once. Hardly amazing return, he had a great start to his career but hasn’t fulfilled the promise. I watched him at Portman Road for Utd where he scored a goal in first few minutes and then went missing for the rest of the match and that’s seems to be the story of Rashfords last few seasons. Perhaps a move abroad will do him good but i think he has an amazing agent to have got this move. |

But was he that good? I thought as always he was vastly overrated and showed some moments of quality but certainly didn’t show the form of a player on over £300k a week. Would have any of the top 4-6 premier league clubs buy him I think not. In his mind he’s a great player the reality is at his best he’s a decent player but doesn’t show it often enough. |

Even as Bluey he’d be moaning and arguing with the ref the whole match! |

Morsy been brilliant and agree still has a big role to play next season but I really think he can’t be an automatic starter all season. We must have other options and look to replace him in games. I’d rather have a fresh Morsy playing 10-15 games less than rely on him in every game. |

Yes of course be considered that but I’m grasping at straws trying to find a justification for him staying. Watching him last season he struggled at times. Lots of room for improvement and having a good U21 tournament will not guarantee a big offer. West Ham who are linked have Summerville and he didn’t get much game time last season so would they also risk taking Omari. I just don’t think it’s 100% he’ll leave and of course want him to stay. |

If the £35 millions release clause is correct, I’m sure someone will take a chance on him. But look at Delaps situation not sure he was ever a guaranteed starter for Chelsea but now looks like he’ll spend a fair bit of time on the bench and that’s not going to do his career development and England prospects any favours. Omari would surely find himself in the same situation at any premiership team, as opposed to pretty much starting every match for us so would be better off staying with us. But perhaps players don’t think like that and just want more money. |
 | Forum Reply | Midfield concerns. at 18:16 6 Jul 2025
Morsy has been brilliant but we can’t really on him as much as we did last time in the Championship. He still has a role to play but not as an automatic starter. Taylor had lots of chances but being part of a 2 man midfield just doesn’t show enough. Would happily see him move on. 2 midfield players in as minimum for me. Then perhaps Cam given a chance of the bench. |
 | Forum Reply | I like the guy, but surely Tuanzebe leaving isn’t a ‘disaster’? at 18:34 26 Jun 2025
Really good player but if we had to give him a big contract to stay and he missed 10-15 games though injury it would have been disappointing. Shame he chose to move on considering coming to Town probably saved his career. Burnley may well come straight back down again too. |
 | Forum Reply | Omari off? at 21:12 24 Jun 2025
I really hope not. Still got a lot to improve on and I fear he goes to any of the teams mentioned he ends up being on the bench most of the time. Look at Summerville didn’t get much game time until he was injured and hardly set the league alight. Omari’s development would be best served staying with Town and being a starter. Not sure anyone would pay the 35m and we certainly don’t need to sell him for any less. |

I predict Brentford will struggle next season. Nothing to do with the Manager just think they’ll lost all their top players from last season. Lose 4-5 of the first team starters and they’ll be in a relegation battle. Same for Wolves already lost 2 of their starters and top players. |
 | Forum Reply | Flynn Downes linked with Russell Martin at Rangers at 18:10 9 Jun 2025
No you’re not the only one. In his last season with us he really didn’t look anything special to me. I think he would want inflated wages because he thinks he’s a premiership player but considering the amount of starts he’s had I don’t think he’s proved himself. I think he could do a job in the championship but would be surprised if he would stand out just think there’s cheaper and possibly better options available elsewhere. Next we’ll be looking at Dozzell. |

Stopped watching England a while ago, unless it’s the final few games in a tournament. Watching England is tedious and dreadful. No way I would watch any other country if they were that bad. I’m just not wasting my time watching them. And I’m someone who watched every home game last season 🤣 |
