It was my first Ipswich game ! I was 6 years old and my dad bought me and him tickets as a birthday present for me (my birthday was 5 days before hand) and so me and him made our way from Colchester. I might have only been 6 years old, but I wasn't scared to join in with all of the post-match celebrations. Then when the game started I was constantly jumping up and down with excitement - I don't think I sat down for 5 minutes in one go! Then when the final whistle went I screamed with happiness and then imediately after joined in with all the other Ipswich fans! Never forget that day ! |

Proper decent guy. He was a real work horse, didn't stop running until the final whistle. Also certainly knew where the back of the net was, unlike some players at the moment. I wouldn't celebrate if he scored, but would certainly give him some respect back for not celebrating. |

a draw with someone in the championship or the premiership please. because if we win that then that will give us a huge morale boost. also this gives us a chance to find out what is our best striking partnership...without runnjng the risk of dropping points. Whatever team we draw, i just hope that it is a home draw that we get. If we are going to draw a team in a lower league than us then a home draw against norwich would be good for the fans and the players morale because it is the only chance we have to play them this season. |

this is the wrong time to sack him !!
we are unbeaten in 6 games which means he must be doing something right.
mucking about with managers will only cause the team to become unsetteled which means that we are back to square one and bottom of the league.
Yes we may be second from bottom but that should hopefully change once we get in a decent striker and possibly a left footed player to play on the left wing.

he could certainly teach our lot a thing or two about defending at international level
he might be coming to the last few years of his career but i still think that he would be a good addition to the squad

Personally I wouldnt mind GM going but i would rather keep him incase we are in a situation when our regular centre backs are injured. To be honest I would rather see bruce and either smith or pim at the back (rather smith than pim though) with thatcher and wright either side of them (once they are match fit). I have to admit though that GM has improved slightly since he has had the captaincy removed and given to bruce. Lets hope that RK makes the right decision so that it doesnt come back to haunt us later on this season. UTT |
