“Following the tragic passing of their beloved #20, Diogo Jota, the club has committed to continue paying his £140,000 per week salary for the remaining three years of his contract. That’s a total of £21.84 million, to be paid in scheduled instalments directly to his wife and three children.

Great that Liverpool commit to paying out the contract but is the £21m not enough to ensure the children’s future? Why do they need a separate fund?? |

Thread | Faking injury to break up play

Going down feigning injuries to stop play is rife. Why not just allow a physio to enter the field of play whilst the game continues. That way a genuine injury/head injury can be treated but it would prevent the deliberate act of breaking up play with fake injuries. |

Sorry, not for the supers game. But Friday at 7.30pm at ten Regent. An evening with Jeff Stelling. Booked in circa 9 months ago and got a reminder late last night. Now made other plans. Was £35 happy to let go for £30.
