Fair points. I don't think anyone can say they are happy with what ITFC have become both on and off the pitch. Change is needed throughout the club. I don't think there's anyone out there to buy Marcus out, given the level of debt and then investment needed on top of that. So we're stuck with him. I just hope he has the energy, desire and drive to oversee such change.... |

My grandfather, bless him, was a ITFC shareholder. He taught me all about Sir Alf, Sir Bobby etc. My father has blue and white blood, so does my older brother and so do I. At 38 years old, I now look to my son who is 6 and he talks about football with the magic and anticipation that I once had. But, his school friends play in premier league kits, and I tell him that the only team to support is ITFC. He looks at me like I'm crazy, and it breaks my heart. 1 because I want ITFC to be his team (at present it is but the club do nothing to make him love ITFC either on or off the field), and 2 because he is right! We are average at best, we appear to have no ambition, we don't embrace the community, where will we be in 2, 5 or 10 years time? I guess mid table at best.... |

After a couple of years of promise and a play off position, it is scary how quickly our club and team have regressed. The club are so out of touch with the fans and the community as a whole, it is laughable. The football is dire, the manager too stubborn for his own good, the club is a faceless, corporate shell and still they want more of our money. ITFC need to wake up, the next generation of fans are only going to get fewer and fewer in number. With the financial gulf to the premier league constantly growing, if we don't change soon we'll never go up again. |

Great words from the captain - for too long the family, local club that was ITFC was gradually withdrawing from the community. MM and LC (and lots of others) deserve a lot of credit for reversing that trend. Still more to do but we are definitely getting there on and off the pitch

Gutted, but still 45 games to go!! Positives - (1) sounded from the Radio that we played well in the 90, (2) good counter attacking with pace, (3) good goals from midfield and (4) the bookies have Brentford as 4th Favourites to go up, so to be able to go there and lead 2-0 shows we have a good side - Negatives: (1) The way in which we fold so easily when we let one in (2) Bart, probably not good enough for a team with top 2 or 6 aspirations, (and Gerken no better (3) Smith needs to make way for Berra but i'm certain Mick will go back to Chambers at RB - other postions MM seems ok to Rotate (which he will have to for the 4 strikers, but he doesn't seem to be able to do it with the 3 Centrebacks of CB, LC and TS
