Anyone here tried really expensive wine?
at 19:15 16 Feb 2020

I’ve tried (but certainly not paid for- was a gift from a client) a first growth claret at £450 a bottle. It was good but not ‘that’ good. You could tell it had age and was a cut above but didn’t blow me away. Also tried a bottle at £180, that was very ordinary to me.

I like wine but they were probably both wasted on me.

Norris also was at fault at Portsmouth in my view. Was in the home stand right behind the shot and he should have saved the shot for their goal. He did ply well in tough conditions otherwise though.

I use the Portsmouth line for work and although there are less trains there is still plenty and it’s running fine. Timetable shows three an hour on the 21st.

When working for small firms I’ve always had good bonuses at Christmas. I’m fortunate - £1500 last year.

Was at a corporation for a few years and got nowt there.

I agree it would be a a wholly irresponsible 'strategy' to promote. I certainly wouldn't do so.

Nor me. Several have read something that ins't there.

SB and I are still correct, mathematically it holds. Of course there are real world limits that would mean it wouldn't, i've not and don't dispute that.

Slight overreaction.

Its up to the forum to decide the direction of a conversation. SB and I just corrected Ryorry's misunderstanding.

You're missing the point, its only the numbers that matter. You just have to keep going until you back a winner.

You could apply it to any sport as long as there is a never ending supply of bets.

Those's things don't matter, only the odds.

Bet 1 you place stake to win £5. If that looses...

Bet 2 place stake to recover you lost stake for bet 1 plus £10 profit. If that looses...

Bet 3 place stake to recover you lost stakes for bets 1 and 2 plus £15.

etc.
