Thanks for agreeing and point taken.
He just really infuriates me how a 6'7 GKwatches the ball fly past him with no attempt to save it. Lets face it it's not the first time he has watched a ball hit the back of the net stuck on his heels. |

This isn't about me.
I've worked with Malcolm Webster, James Hollman and Fred Barber I don't need your approval. If you knew anything about Goalkeepers, you would know who they are.
This comment is about my opinion on Holy and my thoughts behind it. |

For a 6'7 GK to be beaten by a tame shot from outside the box that isn't in the top corner is criminal. For those that don't agree with me, please take a look at the goals we have conceded over the course of the season. You will note that this is not the only time he should have done better. A lot of the goals he is standing still admiring the ball going past him. We need a GK the likes of Kelvin Davis, Begavic, Wright again because I'm afraid Holy will not get better, he just isn't agile enough to be a good GK.
I stand by my post on here a few weeks back (below).
Being a Semi-Pro GK myself, I analyse every GK performances and I have to say Holy is awful. This may take a few of you by surprise but let me tell you why:
- For his size, he does not command his area at all and often looks scared
- Cannot move his feet
- Reactions are extremely slow
- Bang average shot-stopper
- Bad distribution
- Poor decision maker
- Doesn’t talk
- Loses his head once he makes a mistake
The thing is I don’t think Cornell can is much better either. |
