We do (clearly) need a striker (if not 2 while Hirst is injured). Delap, Hirst (who is long-term injured) and Al-Hamadi are nowhere near strong enough as our strike force right now.
I'm assuming we can still navigate the waters of the free transfer market? |

I can think of a host of strikers who'd be better options at this point (and would be cheaper). I feel that Foster would be only a marginal upgrade on Al-Hamadi and Ladapo.
Viktor Gyokeres- 26 years old. Top scorer in the Portuguese Superliga last season. Knows English football well and could be persuaded to move.

And the list goes on and on. I've been super impressed with most of our transfers so far, but I can't see why we'd pay so much for Foster.

We aren't as big a giant as the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea or Man Utd. We are a team that have been massively overperforming who got promotion last season from Division 3. Maidstone deserved their win and we are toothless up front. I hope this result sends a crystal clear message that we need to a couple of premier league strikers on loan right now. |

Rode our luck rollercoaster today and came out the other end with the 3 points. Very physical game and I'd be surprised if QPR are bottom 3 at the end of the season after that performance. 9 points after 3 games= superb start. Keep going team! |
