I thought he had a good first half, like the rest of the starters, and was a right nuisance pressing Van Dyke, some neat & tidy first time triangle stuff when we had it, classic Chappers. Wasn’t a lot of space for any of them to operate in really, and I would definitely not write him off yet! |

Luongo isn’t a non-defensive midfielder, he replaced Evans who when played meant Morsy played as the ‘playmaker’ further forward. Solidity in the middle to allow Leif to do his thing, especially if we shift to 3 at the back with the right CB making forward runs. Both these guys makes great sense, as were so light in the middle, and will be expecting suspensions alongside the possibility of injuries - most important position on the pitch. |

Seems strange to ‘gift’ control to this total outsider after all these years running the club, instead of turning their half of the shares into a fan owned German-style model. That surely would have secured a better legacy and deal for the football club as a whole. But I’m no accountant nor budgie. |

I see Szmodics more as an upgrade on Harness, and Clarke would be the replacement for Jez, so not an either-or situation. Much like Delap could be seen as the upgrade on Jackson meaning we would still be after a replacement for Moore up top.
