I remember watching Eastman and Smith playing for the reserves against Oxford and looked like they had the makings of a fantastic defensive partnership. I know it was only reserve level but he looked to have the ability to be a good solid central defender. Can take a great free kick too.

Luca still looked a yard off the pace on Wednesday night. He made some nice little flicks but never really ran with the ball and took on the Oxford defence. Oh and his shooting was woeful - blazed 3 great chances over the bar. I hope I'm wrong but I doubt he will be up to full match fitness/confidence until early April. He will then be able to get a full pre-season and be back to his barn storming best for next season |

yeap i've had a think and we have won 9 games this season. lee martn played 3 about minutes of one of those 9 victories. maybe its just pure coincidence but we have failed to win in the 15 other games he has made an appearance. i hope im proved wrong and he is worth £1.5 million and his premiership contract, but at the moment the bare stats and his performances prove otherwise. |
