UEFA President: Season Could Be Lost
at 19:20:16

Why is football so important? Olympics off, Ryder Cup off, Wimbledon off, Horse racing off, Rugby off. People are dying. Why is this so important? As Abba sung: money, money, monry.

Saturday evenings are non-stressful now.

O'Neill: We Still Back Completing Season
at 15:52:52

These people must be living in a different Universe!!!! Lets take the competition to one of the places where there are likely to be the most cases and deaths for the foreseeable future - London. Better to play this competition on some remote Scottish island. Oh I forgot, it's money we need.

Today, it’s reported that the Premier League is considering plans to play games in World Cup-style camps in the Midlands and London during June and July with the matches behind closed doors and players staying isolated in hotels as they might at an international competition.

Premier League, EFL and PFA Issue Joint Statement

A few less billionaires about after this. No safe haven for money at the moment, gold perhaps, but certainly not football clubs. Hoping that Marcus sticks by us and doesn't walk, anyone who says otherwise is a plonker.

Footballers are not essential workers, far from it, so they won't be able to travel to the ground to play the games anyway.

Great without foorball. I can't believe how great it is not to feel so very depressed every Saturday evening. If we never play another game, life (if I am spared) moves on to other interests.

A whole new world for the lawyers to get stuck in, if the football authorities decide not to finish the season and decide to promote/relegate teams on a reduced number of games.

Skuse: Performance Showed We’ve Not Thrown in the Towel

Great post Wooly74, all spot on in my view. It is on the field where the problems are, not Evans, Lambert and uncle Tom Cobley and all.

Skuse: Performance Showed We’ve Not Thrown in the Towel
at 13:54:39

Players sticking their heads up on here is like poking a wasps nest with stick. Better that they keep out of the way until we start winning again. But then a section of the crown will moan that no one is reporting back after the games.

The main problem this year is not Evans, Lambert, Tom, Dick or Harry, but the fack that no player takes goal scoring chances. Nolan's tame header into the keepers hands sums up our lack of a goal scorer all season. Norwood, Jackson and Keane have all been guilty of missing relatively simple chances. Had these chances been put away our league position and the atmosphere around the place and confidence of the players would be totally different.
But they didn't, and sadly we are where we are.

The Way Back From Here Will Be Long, But There is a Way
at 10:30:30

Interesting take on the situation.
Does anyone have any idea what the real debt is? £100m keeps getting bandied about, is this a real figure? Does another part of the Evans empire take interest on this debt? ie 5% on £100m is £5m and if this is the case that this adds to the debt of the ITFC part of the Evans empire. Would be nice to know. It is likely that the Evans empire has lots of very clever Accountants who can get all sorts of tunes out of the finances of the Evans empire.

Headers over the bar and past the post from really good positions. I'm not sure he has the quality. Play the big fella upfront from the start against Fleetwood.

Evans doesn't give his money away readily. I can't believe he has given Lambert a 5 year deal without some sort of get out. Like promotion or he can pull the plug?

Town Down to Ninth
at 19:58:57

Norfolkbluey not strictly true, the teams above us don't all score goals for fun. We have 45, Coventry 46, Wycombe 44, Sunderland 46, Portsmouth 48, Fleetwood 48. Only Rotherham, Peterborough and Oxford score for fun.

The disappointing thing match after match is that we make chances and fail to take them as our so called goalscorers are so poor when we get into the last third of the pitch. Aka Keane on Saturday.
