 | News Comment | Humphreys Voted Wycombe Supporters' Player of the Season at 23:34:50
I agree that we need a hard look at him in Pre-season, I believe he is good enough for our first team squad, one of our own and has goals and assists in him too. His size is irrelevant, if he is good enough, he's good enough! Messi isn't huge is he!!!! |

I've been banging on about Hirst all season, we suddenly looked a real threat going forward when he replaced Delap, Hirst is an intelligent striker with a good all round game, Delap needs to improve his game and learn to pass when the time is right, rather that try to do it all by himself. Enciso, Hutch and Taylor all had good games and what a goal Enciso scored, must be up there for goal of the season. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Challenge Too Big With Ten Men at 19:05:36
I know some will moan about what KM has said but he is so right, he is the man to take us forward alongside Mark Ashton, the club is in good hands and the fans especially the away fans have been fantastic. Thanks to Keiran and his team for all their efforts but sometimes it's all a bit too much. We shall regroup and go again in KM I trust. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: My Full Focus is on Town at 17:23:16
It would be madness to lose him now, I'm sure he and the players have learnt a lot this season and it would have been a huge ask for us to stay in the league given over 20 yeas absence from the top flight and progressing so quickly from League 1. We have many players to welcome back from injury next season and I hope we manage to keep our better players. It will be time for some to move on I'm sure but whatever happens I have managed to stick with the club for 60 years and I I'm not deserting them now. |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 0-4 Arsenal - Match Report at 11:24:00
Let's be clear here, I don't think anybody has let anybody down this season. The truth is quite simple, our players did their best (probably lost heart, understandable), in the last few months, but never lacked effort, just quality. The jump up to PL football is huge. It's my humble opinion we panic bought in the summer and brought in too many new players and it seems the wrong ones. I think next season will be anything but a foregone conclusion, getting out of the Championship is a tough ask. It's time for a sensible rebuild and no matter what I shall still be cheering us on next season, but this summer is vital. Those calling for McKenna's head are mad, nobody complained when we were winning!! |
 | News Comment | Johnson: We've Done the Club Proud at 11:58:35
I get both points of view on here, I really do. Did I want us to be relegated? No of course not! Having said that we have competed in well in most games and to quote KM, we have often lost by fine margins. We have also had a long list of injuries. I prefer to look at the bigger picture, you don't have to win to be proud. If we look at the last 3 seasons we have been on an incredible journey and for many reasons, this season didn't go our way. We spent the first half of the season with a goalkeeper with no confidence and several error strewn performances and some of our signings just didn't come up to expectations. Having said the we competed, but our confidence waned, it was difficult playing against teams with budgets we could only dream about. I'm proud of the the way the club is going, the players have mostly done their best and most of all I'm incredibly proud of our supporters, they have (especially away) been the best in the league. So despite the results I am proud, proud to be a supporter of this great club, who will go on to much greater things in my opinion. |
 | News Comment | Hirst's First Scotland Call Confirmed at 00:25:52
Hirst is intelligent and has an array of skills, brings others into the game with well timed and executed passes. He would be my first choice no9 at Town. |

I probably think that's it for this season, I simply cannot see where points will come from for the rest of the season. The confidence has gone from the team and it was another error strewn performance. Davis has struggled all season and was poor again today, Jaden and Clarke are nowhere near ready for he Prem and Delap has his merits. Enciso, Woolfie, Palmer and Cajuste were the stand out players for me today. If Wolves win tonight we are down for sure. |
 | News Comment | Amorim: A Good Performance in All Aspects at 10:32:41
I said this last night, when United went 3-2 up, thye shut us out and defended with experience, we didn't defend well at dead ball situations last night, but United showed how to defend successfully with 10 men. Back to the drawing board, last night makes me wonder what we do in training sometimes or perhaps, as I believe, he is picking the wrong players for a dog fight. Bring in Townsend, Burgess & Woolfenden, play Szmodics, Chaplin & Broadhead behind Hirst. The old guard won't let us down, otherwise we are down. |
 | News Comment | Enciso's Knee Injury Not Serious at 09:35:37
We have seen very little of the lad so far, if he is missing for a while it's unfortunate, but to say we must have him back or it's terrible is daft. He like every other player, he is only one player, we are a squad team and the squad will do us proud I'm sure. Up the Towen. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: The Group Has Shown Fantastic Character at 19:02:52
Alex Palmer didn't look like a Premier League debutant today, he was superb and we seem to have signed one hell of a keeper. Great overall fighting performance by all the lads today, it was a draw that felt like a win at the final whistle, play like that every week and we are in with a chance of staying up! The less said about the ref on the other hand.................. |

RobsonWark I copy your posts because I can't seem to get original thoughts like you, I mean I would never have thought of that on my own, you are my TWTD hero :-) |
 | News Comment | Coventry City 1-4 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 18:03:48
Could Palmer just be signing of the season? Ladies and gentleman, we have ourselves a proper goalkeeper!!! Now lets go and get some results in the Prem and stay where I believe we belong. |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 1-2 Southampton - Match Report at 18:33:20
There is not much one can say about that performance. Delap & Broadhead the pick of a poor bunch. The confidence and bottle has gone and we appear to have no fight when the chips are down. Our signings have been very poor, Clarke and Jaden are next to useless, as someone else said too many changes week in week out. Lets start Slicker in the cup game and see how it goes, for me Muric is shot to pieces, absolutely no confidence at all. All we can do is regroup in the summer and go again in the Championship, just watching the Wolves game, at least they are having a good and currently winning. It all happened to soon for us sadly, Division 1 to Prem back to back was too much too soon. |

If we are not turning on the players or the manager on here we are turning on each other, please try and grow up some of you. You are 'entitled' to an opinion but should respect others, even if you disagree. |
