Fleetwood the team we have been waiting for all season. Get our early goal then that will bring the opposition out. Well that really did bring Fleetwood out but the story didn't happen. We can't manage a defensive team now we can't manage an attacking team. Yes the ref made some strange decisions, the crowd was big but quiet and full marks to Fleetwood for for the way they controlled the game,apart from a few rash professional fouls. There is no way that we will get out of this league playing pocession football. It's OK doing that if the pocession goes forward but there's too many backward passes in our play. Need to get it forward quicker to put pressure on the opposition defence then the goals will come, then it can be the time to play pretty football to see the game out. If we don't change we will be in for another tough season. |

Think we better have a vote on here as everyone mentioned has been written off before they start. Manning in top spot but if he was named last April everyone would be having a go at him. As been mentioned we are a club in League 1, who are people expecting to turn up. Who ever is appointed need to have the full support of every supporter no matter what happens. My memory of Paul Mariner were the weeks before he signed. West Ham were in for him and I thought that was it,no way would he sign for us when he had a London club after him. When he eventually signed I thought wow how did that happen. The lure of playing for Bobby Robson was something to be proud of and this was the start of something special at the club. What a team and what a special player. Thank you Paul Mariner. RIP |
