‘Playoffs between 15th to 18th place, with the loser of the final going down.’
So if you don’t want to go down, you don’t want to be in the final. If you don’t want to be in the final, you make sure you lose the semi. Doesn’t seem very workable, unless I’m missing something. |

The flip side of that is that we go 1 up just after the extra time is added, then the opponent has the extra time to try and equalise. That doesn’t seem very fair either |

No. Even with VAR we weren’t getting stonewalls overturned eg v Leicester at home. |

We weren’t great that day, but don’t forget we had a pen awarded which took ages to be overturned by VAR; McKenna didn’t understand why. One of the many dodgy VAR calls to go against us last year. |

Disappointing for me as well.
Onions, garlic & spuds all smaller than usual
Beetroot seedlings eaten by birds (never happened before)
Gooseberries eaten by deer or birds, again never happened before
Entire sweetcorn crop eaten by badgers
Only squash/pumpkins doing well this year |

There is a school of thought which suggests that Bazball is a solution to the belief/problem that the best batsmen inEngland aren’t technically equipped enough to cope with traditional test cricket. I’m not sure but certainly the last Ashes in Australia the England batsmen looked all at sea. |
