Sat in the home end with a Budgie work colleague, followed by a night out in Norwich - never again.

P&O plan coming along nicely

Then if that is the case then our HM government is completely free to make a stand to do something about it. If the existing laws are not strong enough then perhaps the government will change the law for the future.

Belstead Avenue.

Nice little leg-stretch before and after the match. Easy to pick up the A14 via Wherstead Road on completion. There is a chippy on Wherstead Road too.

Was this pub called the Town House back in the 80’s?

I have had the privilege to visit the great man’s grave twice (1997 & 2008) in his final resting place in South Georgia…

We had "suffered, starved and triumphed, groveled down yet grasped at glory, grown bigger in the bigness of the whole. We had seen God in His splendours, heard the text that Nature renders." We had reached the naked soul of man.

For a joint scientific and geographical piece of organization, give me Scott; for a Winter Journey, Wilson; for a dash to the Pole and nothing else, Amundsen: and if I am in the devil of a hole and want to get out of it, give me Shackleton every time.

Targeting hospitals now?

The best we can hope for at present but I’m inclined to think it won’t work out that well.

If it does then great but there will be some long memories in Ukraine as well as Poland, Finland Sweden etc once this has finished playing out.

Putin is at the point of no return for me - it is up to those from within to define the course of history.

You have been honest with yourself (and to us in your very frank reports).

Just be the same with her (but leave out the bit about your work colleague) - if the relationship has a future then it will all work out fine.
