Keane Again Bemoans Lack of Goals
at 21:08:24

Blandford - totally agree. I've always been prepared to accept that a manager needs time to bed in, build a squad and mould them into a team that fits his vision. And more than 18 months down the line we look far worse than we ever did under Magilton or even Royle, in terms of results and quality of football. Loyalty can only stretch so far and enough is enough. We need a new manager in place before the transfer window opens even if there's no money available otherwise League One beckons.

Keane: Silly Five Minutes Cost Us
at 07:41:32

For what it's worth...

The simple fact is that Brown and Smith are not good enough to play at full-back in this division, they struggled defensively and offered nothing going forward. Livermore, Leadbitter and Norris all seemd to want to play the holding role, and there was a 20-yard no man's land between the midfield and Scotland. Priskin found new levels of laziness and is clearly not fit to wear the shirt.

Credit where it's due, MacAuley and Delaney were solid enough, Scotland was at least prepared to run at players and Murphy looked pretty comfortable. But until the introduction of Wickham and Murray, we looked like a side devoid of passion and ideas.

If we've reached that point in the season already where we're realiant on the younger players to provide the spark, then let's see more of the likes of Murray, Wickham and Hyam (and the loan kids too) and a lot less of the shirkers like Priskin who are seemingly only interested in the pay cheque.

Keane Angry After Defeat
at 07:46:52

How is Lee Martin getting off so lightly? If he wants to wear the shirt, he should have to buy one from the club shop like the rest of us because he's got no business being a professional footballer. There should be no place at this club for prima donna no-trick ponies.

Yes, Rosenior and a few others were poor last night but most of the culprits have been solid and hardworking for most of the season. The real problem was that we were tactically inept. Why wouldn't we want to bang long balls down the middle onto the head of a 6'4" centre-half for 90 minutes? That responsibility has to lie with the manager somewhere down the line. I'm not a member of the 'Keane out' brigade but that was inexcusable.

I will accept cash, cheques and Paypal when the club gets round to issuing refunds for us having to endure that dross without a drop of alcohol (thanks for that, Watford Council).
