My concern is the integration of all the new guys; the last time we were talking these amount of numbers was in the ill fated Hirst era and that didn’t go well.

I have absolutely no problem about the fact that these guys want to play at the very highest level but there is a way to do these things.
Downing tools is not one of them.
He and his advisers could’ve played this a lot more savvy but it is now water under the bridge and our coffers are very much enhanced but I’m not sure his reputation is! |

Sulking the way he has demonstrates a childish side to his character which frankly leaves a bad taste in the mouth and diminishes any respect I’ve had for him over the last couple of seasons.
37.5 million (and maybe more) would be a great deal in anyone’s book but whether he has it to make it in the Premiership, only time will tell! |

I think it’s unfair to suggest he wasn’t used to his full potential by KMcK especially during the last disastrous season.
As a Welsh international, how many times did he start in the starting 11?
Even as an impact sub, he was used sparingly apart from that “goal “ against Croatia?
I liked him and would only wish him well but I think 10 mill is one hell of a deal from our perspective. |

We are not the team who came down from the Prem and as such we are in transition just now.
We need to sort out the Hutchinson and Broadhead situation fast and move on. It will always take a while to accommodate the new additions but KMcK is more than aware of that. Some teams adapt quicker than others so we can’t hang around to play catch up on that front but it is ONE game in let’s not forget. |

I get the bit of wanting to play at the very highest level after tasting it last season but a couple of things strike me about this situation.
Brentford? but if they’re the only interested parties then there you go but like many on here I suspect they may be due a difficult season.
And in my opinion, he didn’t have a particularly great season last year (who did?) so if Brentford are offering 40 mill, let’s take it. |
