 | News Comment | McKenna: Challenge Too Big With Ten Men at 23:49:51
It’s ironic that KMcK is accused of believing his own waffle! Couldn’t possibly level that at some on here! Every thread. Extremely booooooooring. |

When you start using terms like “ so called real supporters “ to emphasise your point is when folk get p@&d off. You’re entitled to your opinions but it’s the same old thing regurgitated, recycled and reposted on every thread. Like most, I see your user icon, and move on! |
 | News Comment | West Brom Sack Mowbray After Three Months at 21:46:29
Both were awesome in their day for us and it just shows there is no room for sentiment in football. On another note, is there any mileage in restricting posters as to how much content they’re allowed to post? It’s getting boring now! |

The fact is the Premier League of 20 years or so ago is a completely different beast to the one we entered in August. It’s been tough, extremely tough, and for me it’s the sheer quality established teams bring to the table. My expectations for the season was to be battling the likes of Palace, Bournemouth, Fulham and the likes and being competitive. Unfortunately, they are way ahead of us and it showed. Money, Sky, The FA and the corporate influence have ruined the whole experience and if that reeks of sour grapes on my behalf, I’ll take it, but I’m not the only one who feels that. Another 3 teams are ready to replace us and is there really anyone on here who fancy’s their chances? Leeds will be an interesting one and should an established team have a wobble they may reap the rewards but I fully expect them all to return to the championship come this time next year. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: We Were at Full Stretch Even Before Red Card at 22:18:07
Lots of candidates on here to replace KMcK all with such obvious insight into everything really! Amazing they weren’t all interviewed for the job prior to the start of the season so as to spare the rest of us this current situation. Hell, we’d have been pushing for Europe by now. |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 0-4 Arsenal - Match Report at 19:03:25
Arsenal spent almost the same amount as us on ONE player and yet some on here think we should be going toe to toe with them! The gulf is huge between the two divisions as is borne out by the fact, yet again, the promoted three are going straight back down and who would bet against it being repeated this time next season. One trick managers and no plan Bs really question just exactly what people’s expectations were for this season. As for some of the comments!! |

Just been humped by a team who humped Real Madrid 5-1 over two matches! Yep, the world that is ITFC is coming to an end!! Some people!!! |
 | News Comment | Chelsea 2-2 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 11:30:26
Next Blueboy will be us telling Ukraine started the war! His “truths” are very much like Trumps!! For me, the season has been all about the quality that teams I expected us to be closer aligned to, have at their disposal. When the likes of Wolves, Brighton, Fulham, Palace and the likes can call upon seasoned internationals from the bench shows the massive difference in quality that we just do not enjoy at this moment in time. Sure, there’s been injuries, goal keeping issues and even tactical mistakes to contend with but as others have suggested, this Premier league malarkey is at another level. We come back stronger. |
 | News Comment | McKenna Commits Future to Town at 09:53:04
Football, much like life, teaches you to rule nothing out. But like most on here I see it as a positive that KMcK is here for the next phase. What always surprises me is how all his detractors claim to know what was or was not part of any contract he and the club agreed over last summer! Undoubtedly, he’s made mistakes and been found wanting on occasions over the season but it’s been as much as a learning curve for him as for the rest of us. I think back to the Dark Lord, Hirst and Lambert and I know who I’m happier with, warts and all!! |
 | News Comment | McKenna: More Than Likely Town Will Be in the Championship Next Season at 15:31:36
It’s good to see and read measured and astute observations (with the exception of the usual suspects!!!) on here concerning the season and the bigger picture. We all knew this was going to be a particularly hard and challenging season and for me the games won statistic, especially at home, has been the major disappointment. But the support has been amazing both home and away and the footballing philosophy has been maintained. The building continues COYBs |

When we were languishing in league One barely making 15K in attendance figures you did wonder, if we were to be successful in the future, who would be filling all those empty seats? I think with some of the comments on here, we now know who they were! |

Please! Don’t mention the “M” word! I suspect we’re going to be reminded about it for the rest of our lives!!! |
 | News Comment | Manchester City 4-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 18:23:24
2 games in and no points is pretty much what we all expected given the opposition and in that process have not embarrassed ourselves. Its a massive learning curve and we have to adapt quickly to ensure we’re above that cutoff line come May. I have every faith that with KMcK at the helm we will. 2 seasons ago we were playing Morecombe!! Still have to pinch myself!! COYB |
 | News Comment | Wycombe Closing In On Humphreys Loan Signing at 12:34:16
Can’t help thinking a Champion club would benefit him and us more as opposed to league One club. No disrespect to Wycombe and I get the personality connection but I think he’s better than that. |
