Agree with this. We're still recalibrating the squad from the league 1 days- we need stronger cover and a better bench for future attempts in the prem.
The best is a mix of both- we still need the young talent to develop and bring in the funds to escalate the rest of the squad. |

Sure, except Matusiwa and Nunez are very different players. Would be more accurate to have the three of Cajuste/ Nunez/ Taylor on one side.

I like him, good fit and ready to play.
Potentially better than Broadhead already, with higher potential
Personally I think we're only really looking for another DM and the squad looks good. A couple of high potential prospects would be nice as future planning. |

Let's question who benefits from this story being public-
Is it Ipswich Town? No, they're happy if the deal happens behind closed doors
Is it the player? No, as far as we know he's happy to stay
Is it Boro? Hmm. Well it's added on at the end of an article about Southampton bidding for Azaz, another midfielder. Wouldn't it be interesting if two of the relegated sides were both looking to buy a midfielder from Boro? It's not an exact bidding war but it's close- both sides are told "look, we only need to sell one of our star midfielders... so who of you is going to offer more?"
Could also be zero truth in the Azaz story and they're just trying to force Town's hand |
