 | Forum Thread | Why can't we just be proud ... at 15:59 13 Apr 2025
We've take 4 points off Chelsea this season, they have taken 1 off little old Ipswich. They are fighting for CL. Christ we should be proud even if a lead slipped again. |
 | Forum Thread | Club World Cup at 20:03 26 Mar 2025
Just read on BBC that City and Chelsea could earn upto £97M each from the Club World Cup this summer. It's nuts and with PSR it just makes the playing field even more uneven between clubs in the PL let alone between the Prem and Championship. They need to look at this and say any winnings can't be used as profit in the PSR calculations or something along those lines as the reality is the club world cup is really only achievable by very few in UK who are already very wealthy. I know what I propose may not be totally right but it's the principle behind it that I think is important to contain the increasing gulf in clubs finances. |

Tuanzebe should be playing and we may not be in such a mess but no you made a mistake last weekend and you punish us again this weekend for YOUR mistake. |
 | Forum Thread | No charge for Wilson it seems at 13:01 9 Jan 2025
Apologies if already covered but seen nothing mentioned about charging Harry Wilson for his reaction to the ref in the game Sunday. The evidence is clearly there at best he is using expletives directly at the ref, calling him "f'ing sh1t" and approaching in an aggressive manner and at worst he calls him a "f'ing cheat". Given all the talk about respect from the FA etc it's not a good look to simply ignore this happened when when many were watching Sky and saw it plus all subsequent social media coverage of it. Another example of the FA not being fit for purpose. |
 | Forum Thread | The striker search ... at 13:56 8 Jan 2025
... got that bit tougher as along with Everton, West Ham (lost Bowen and Antonio), Arsenal and probably others in need of a striker, Bournemouth now lost Evanilson and Unal in the last week. More established PL clubs possibly vying for the same strikers we might want won't help us as good as KMc is. I hope this is someone in advanced talks behind the scenes as we really need stronger option(s) to back up Delap by the time we get to the Brighton game. |

they all make mistakes. Nick Pope in the Eng squad gifts Spurs a goal. Maybe we can just go easy on Muric and allow him to build up some confidence. |

So not injured? What on earth has gone on with that deal there seems to be lot we don't know. We must have got cold on the 30M obligation |
 | Forum Thread | Solanke - the price of strikers at 18:58 9 Aug 2024
BBC reporting Spurs agreed a £65M deal with Bournemouth for Solanke. Really shows how much you have to spend to get a decent English striker! Maybe with the service at Spurs he could be prolific but puts into perspective what we would have to spend for a proven goalscorer! Never have i watched Solanke and thought he is worth that much. Expect Bournemouth to be in for Sargent. |
 | Forum Thread | Sky are what’s wrong with football at 21:58 20 Dec 2023
Showing the EFL cup game and talking about great football over Christmas and only talk about EPL games nothing about EFL games! It’s like nothing exists outside the boring EPL. You’d think the EFL would have something to say about this! |

 | Forum Thread | Johnson plays for Sheff Wed at 20:16 14 Feb 2023
So I assume he got away with that elbow then and of course it wasn't as dangerous as Morsy push on Accrington last year! Not only did he help Wed to the draw he now assists a goal. Sheff Wed, Plymouth, Bolton and Barnsley all leading already! |
 | Forum Thread | Sorry a Celina post ... at 10:55 22 Jul 2022
So Andy Warren reports in EADT its discussions with Dijon that are the issue but Phil hears it is all good with Dijon and Celina terms the issue. What's the truth as some on here critical of Celina that he doesn't really want to be here choosing Stoke and Turkish club over us. If the reality is it's Dijon we aren't even an option Celina could pick at the moment. |
 | Forum Thread | Top 3 all at home ... at 20:40 16 Apr 2022
Two are in good form and one isn't. Guess which is the only one to win. (I don't see MK coming back) Why is it even when we are looking better are we still the team the helps teams end their endless streak. Giving teams on a poor run and much needed boost, losing on TV it just feels very same old Ipswich. Next season will be different if we can keep the core and added strikers we'll be fine. As others said, if Norwood scores we probably go on to win the game. |
 | Forum Thread | Damn Sunderland ... at 17:18 15 Apr 2022
9 goals after the 82nd minute in last 9 games yielding an extra 11 points from those goals. If only we could do that or at least not concede after the 82nd minute . They really aren't very good and yet they hang on in games and nick the points. |
 | Forum Thread | Kai Naismith at 22:27 11 Apr 2022
Without wanting to dig up old ground, did anyone see Naismith's push on the Huddersfield player after the missed pen? To me (and the match commentators) that was way more violent than the blurred images of what Morsy did against Stanley. As Naismith was booked for it, quite how the officials only managed to come up with a yellow between them goodness knows, no further action can be taken. My point is that the governing bodies need to change rules to allow retrospective action to upgrade cards or take disciplinary action where a punishment during the game was not correct. How on earth can you compare Morsy and Naismith pushes and get one as a red the other as a yellow. It makes a mockery of penalising players to ban Morsy and Naismith gets to play the next 4 games with no more than a slapped wrist. |
