 | Forum Reply | Sunderland spending this summer third highest in PL history… at 01:12 31 Jul 2025
Just takes a couple of injuries for Sunderland like we had and they could be in trouble. Imagine Xhaka is out for half a season with something that would really hurt. They look like could field a strong starting XI but as we quickly found out its also finishing with a strong XI that's important. |

I thought this, seemed to have 2 totally different seasons in one. Haven't seen enough of him, but if his fall off was that big in L1 do we really think he would be that much better than AAH. I assume Broja still not fully fit, is that something KMc would explore again as when he sets his sights on a target we often persist .... |

Pretty sure I saw Wolves considering him. |
 | Forum Reply | So, Hackers for under 15m? at 23:10 29 Jul 2025
For Phil to have posted that there must have been some kind of green light from the club as the noise quickly translated onto the Boro forum so assume we think there is a lower risk of another club coming in. Having said that if somewhere nearer £15M rather than £22M was the real fee, Boro would have told 'interested' PL clubs what they need to match our offer. Hoping we are near the end of this one. Just a striker saga to come as well .... |
 | Forum Reply | Excellent news to go to bed on at 23:04 29 Jul 2025
Hmmmm not sure I like the sound of that, given this has been going on a few days already had time to think. Hopefully just time to whatsapp Omari to check he is staying and realising this is where he needs to be. |
 | Forum Reply | Omari to Brentford at 22:31 29 Jul 2025
Morsy. WiFi called PK from his private jet on the way to Kuwait. Fact. "PK, Skip here. You deserve some good news. Omari wants to stay. Secondly the scum are sh*t and you will double them this season. Good luck my friend." Line goes dead. |
 | Forum Reply | Josh Brownhill - are we in for him? at 23:28 28 Jul 2025
I wonder what Brownhill would take? If you consider Hackney on a 3 year deal is £20M + £5.5M in wages over 3 years (52x£35Kx3) so something like £25.5M plus any add ons to fee. If you offered Brownhill £5M sign on fee and £60K is wages I make that a cost over 3 years circa £14.4M (£5M + 52x£60Kx3). Brownhill is older and therefore Hackney might be seen as a higher ceiling, but Brownhill has PL experience and more than held his own in the poor season for Burnley. So could there be a possible deal there if we didn't go for Hackney? Lots of assumptions and a quick search suggests he could be on c. £54K a week at Burnley so even matching his Burnley pay it could be somewhere in the region of £10M cheaper than Hackney. |

Think this is being agent driven as others have said to try and see if there is interest from PL clubs before it's too late. Clubs would be wise to this so don't know if that sort of thing works anymore. Time will tell on this one. I think the moral is only listen to reliable journalists and the clubs, but it's human nature to react to all these ITK claims we see all over social media. |
 | Forum Reply | Hayden Hackney Medical at 13:27 28 Jul 2025
Yeah I get that just saying what's on their forum that's all. Not sure how legit I really think that is as well, as others have said is the Nixon story over the weekend really going to have woken up a sleeping PL team. If they had wanted him they would have been in discussion with Boro before. |
 | Forum Reply | Hayden Hackney Medical at 13:02 28 Jul 2025
They are quoting a reliable source saying it! Seems they are on here reading our forum too quoting Phil saying the medical rumour is premature. |

Stop it ... I can't have a day refreshing here and social media to see if anything happening! |
 | Forum Reply | Hayden Hackney - Alan Nixon… at 14:16 27 Jul 2025
I am sure it worries most of us, including me. Just we still have time and we have little idea of what is happening. We should trust the club, I think they have earnt that over last 3 years. If we panic buy to fill a whole we are all equally moaning. I am going with KW that for us to bid there is something in this and the player/agent must have given positive indications or we would have moved on already. |
 | Forum Reply | Being concerned about lack of signings is no longer bed wetting at 18:36 25 Jul 2025
The inference the finger is not in is what gets me. How do you know LW and MA are not doing all they can to make signings. Maybe they are very close, maybe someone is done but we are letting the whole Morsy thing calm. YOU just don't know. If we had wanted players like Schlupp I am sure we could have got him. We could have re-signed Mass, but we are aiming higher, listen to what MA has said about the type of player we want and if takes time. You are still very much in bed wetting territory I am afraid. |

Don't think WCB was saying that I think he is suggesting we would all feel easier IF we saw Omari training with all the others. Hopefully we will see that but probably won't mean any less that he wants to move on and will move on. If he is professional about the whole thing I think fans would be more supportive of his ambition to remain playing in the PL. |
 | Forum Reply | Omari at 18:24 25 Jul 2025
I think Brentford might be watching what is happening to Wissa as well and biding time on Omari as they probably don't think anyone else coming in for him so they can wait. I wish another time would come in and have a mini price war to make sure we get £35M+ for him. We can play hardball if we don't get at least the terms of the release clause if we want, but having a player that doesn't/may not want to be here is of no use to us or the dressing room. |
 | Forum Reply | Jens Cajuste at 09:16 25 Jul 2025
I just don't see that another quality* CM signing can't be very very close to allow Morsy to go. No matter how much how he has done, and it is a lot, we must have said to Sam we won't get in your way until we have suitable cover through the door. Azor is not enough to replace Morsy, Cajuste, Mass and Phillips. If this isn't the case I am sure it will leave KMc very uncomfortable and MA will know he further risks losing KMc if we aren't giving KMc the tools for the best chance of promotion. This is aside from the targets KMc had whilst we still had Morsy!! Hopefully this will all become clearer within days we have a signing or 2 in the door in the next few days. * obviously the fans will be the judge of quality not KMc |
 | Forum Reply | Besiktas closing in on Cajuste at 17:52 21 Jul 2025
Yes I have taken it from that, I like you think that cannot be true otherwise he won't get any contract, but I still think he could be out of our price bracket unless we get Omari money and chose to invest it in his wages. Doesn't feel like the way MA and KMc would do it |
 | Forum Reply | Besiktas closing in on Cajuste at 17:46 21 Jul 2025
Getting tough now. Of the reported interest Cajuste - wants higher level football Downes - Saints wont sell to us Longstaff - joined Leeds Brownhill - too much money if reports are true Hackney - Reported wants PL Ruiz - Coach doesn't want him to join an unimportant club Interesting to see what level of player we are looking at next. Edited : I forgot Ruiz, I knew there was someone. [Post edited 21 Jul 21:45]
