OliveR16 interesting you say that, I went with a good mate who's a Wednesday fan. He was saying there's way too much negativity in the fans and it often works against the team. Apparently they have had several junk throwing incidents in the recent past and the club have never sorted it out properly. Maybe they will now... However the officials definitely got intimidated by the vitriol of their support in that game. The ref was not up to the standard required for a fixture of that magnitude. |

Abject. I can't count the number of times I thought we had hit rock bottom over the last 3 years but this is a new low. You are right but unfortunately completely unrealistic. The EPL bottom 14 know that if they vote for anything remotely similar to this, the top 6 will leave the league and play with their wealthy friends in Turin, Munich, Madrid, Barcelona and Paris. And thus scares them more than anything else. |

It wasn't a good performance, but at least we're trying to pass the ball. Slicker transition through midfield needed, too many "safe" balls. Not quite clicking, but it's still way too early to judge this team or the manager. |
