Has he travelled? Seen a lot of content that covers a lot of players, but no evidence that he’s there…

Any idea when membership will be announced? And when the tickets will go on sale? Also anyone know their standard away allocation?

Are we aiming too high?
at 08:45 9 Jul 2025

Obviously I love the ambition, but I'm very nervous we're aiming to recruit players that will ultimately move to the PL this window and we'll be left floundering. I think Joe referred to the situation as a high-wire act, and it's starting to look that way

Not sure how many on here are on Twitter (or X I guess). Napoli journo suggesting Cajuste to Beskitas not necessarily done and dusted...

Signings Required as it stands
at 11:26 27 Jun 2025

1 x RB to replace Axel
1 x CB to replace Burgess
2 x CM to replace Cajuste and Luongo
1 x ST to replace Delap

On top of that we could need (based on some departure rumblings):
1 x CB to replace Woolfy
2 x CM to replace Morsy and Taylor
1 x ST to replace AAH (unless SS becomes accepted as the third ST?)

What have I missed?

In terms of names to replace them...
1 x RB to replace Axel - WOULDN'T HAVE A CLUE
1 x CB to replace Burgess - WOULDN'T HAVE A CLUE
2 x CM to replace Cajuste and Luongo - CAJUSTE, REED, DOWNES all been mentioned
1 x ST to replace Delap - GUIU THE ONLY DECENT NAME LINKED

Reason for no signings?
at 09:14 22 Jun 2025

Just read Leicester not sacking RVN until July to avoid two managerial payouts in the same PSR year. Could this be the reason we’ve not signed anyone yet? Not saying we are at huge risk or anything, but I wonder if there’s a queue of stuff waiting for 1st July

Cochrane Big Fav
at 09:44 9 Jun 2025

Won't mean much at the moment with only one firm priced up, and very little would move the market but...

McKenna opened 2/1 out to 5/1
Cochrane opened 4/1 in to 4/7
https://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/brentford/next-permanent-

As I say, won't mean too much at the moment BUT it's better than being the other way round. And the longer McKenna sits there at 5/1 without any money coming for him, it would seem very unlikely he's their man.

Good luck to the lad and for anyone going - enjoy

However the whole thing couldn’t have gone much worse. Fighters dropping out, resorting to having to literally giveaway tickets, and now the weather is an absolute washout. Got to feel for those who splashed out on on-pitch tickets and are now going to get soaked!

Manager Shortlist IF the worst happens
at 18:03 6 Jun 2025

I think Frank goes but the Cochrane steps up.

If McKenna does end up at Brentford, what's your shortlist?

Cochrane, Rohl, Barry would all likely be on the list. Can't think of many "established" managers that I'd want.

June 10th Deadlines
at 11:17 4 Jun 2025

Given MA and KM comments about being further down the line with plans/transfers due to knowing our fate early, I think I expected a fair bit of action in this mini window. A lot of links but still relatively quiet in terms of anything nearing a conclusion. Thoughts? How many, if any, are you expecting in pre 10th?

The Curious Case of Kalvin Phillips

Must be our highest earner by some margin, but barely gets a game and hasn't looked up to all that much when he does play.

Argue the second half of that all you like but if he's not playing in games like yesterday - is it not just an utter waste of money? Appreciate we'd need someone else instead (FWIW I'm told the Downes story has legs but is deemed difficult to get done this window)

Hirst return date

When’s he due back? He seems to have pretty good movement based on his Instagram story and the club do have a little bit of a habit of over estimating injury time the last couple of years - probably on purpose

End of Transfer Window Big Name
at 16:10 12 Dec 2024

At the end of the Transfer window a poster on here claimed we were interested in a big name and thought we might go again in January to try and make it happen. They said they weren't going to name them.

Can't remember who it was, but has that poster heard any more about that? And based on who they think it was, does there playing time at their current club this season suggest it's something that could happen or no?

Our Bench - Defenders
at 13:38 9 Dec 2024

KMc doesn't like having CBs on the bench, but with the volume of players now allowed on the bench I'm not sure this is the right approach.

Very easy to say in hindsight but, given how weak Johnson is defensively (IMO), being able to bring on Greaves, go 5 at the back, and push DO'S out a little wider to help Johnson would've been very helpful.

Think this is something he'll change?

Don’t think I’ve seen this said anywhere, and I don’t particularly like saying it, but think Morsy has looked off the pace a fair bit this season. MOTD even highlighted that central area as our real weakness.

Unfortunately, none of the others are impressing either tho.

Sure this will get slated to as he’s a bit like the NHS - not allowed to criticise it!

Morsy Yesterday
at 10:40 22 Sep 2024

Now, I’m fully aware some people aren’t going to like this in the circumstances, and I’m also clearly going to forgive him given the limbs at the end. BUT…

Thought Morsy was actually quite far off the pace yesterday. Southampton drove through our midfield so easily. Quite a few times in the first half where he didn’t appear to be guarding that right side of midfield. Went from fouling anything that moves to not really making a challenge!

Maybe I missed something more tactical that explains it, but thought without KP he looked off the pace. Thoughts? Clearly I still love him FWIW

Apologies if this is a) Boring or B) a repeat (can't see it anywhere tho)

Is there any way of monitoring West Ham sales when it's not reached my bracket yet? On 19 and got tickets for the games I've wanted to so far, but thinking WH may not make it to 15+

Thanks
