It's still bloody tough, likely come away from it with minimal points, and season's over before it's barely started.

Nope - Championship PSR rules basically make this impossible

Does anyone know who it actually is? Got suspicions it's an ex player but not going to name them as clearly don't know as fact

Believe they've copied it from another account (posted a couple of days back) who is actually usually pretty spot on with transfer talk

How to win the Premier League - Ian Graham

Was (one of) the man behind the data revolution at Liverpool. Interesting how clubs look at players now. Nature of a book like that means it's slightly repetitive at times tho

Sky reporting Justin Cochrane going with Frank.
at 16:52 10 Jun 2025

I wouldn't rule this out just yet.

IF (big if...) Cochrane is presented Spurs + England part time, or permanent manager of Brentford then if he doesn't go for the latter he likely closes the door on being a manager any time soon IMO

Yep! Been the plan ever since the club (not Frank) bought him in

Cochrane Big Fav

Won't mean much at the moment with only one firm priced up, and very little would move the market but...

McKenna opened 2/1 out to 5/1
Cochrane opened 4/1 in to 4/7
https://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/brentford/next-permanent-

As I say, won't mean too much at the moment BUT it's better than being the other way round. And the longer McKenna sits there at 5/1 without any money coming for him, it would seem very unlikely he's their man.

And whilst we’re at it, does our relegation mean ifollow is back or has that changed over the last year?

I don’t think so based on the pictures I’ve seen. Might’ve dried up by then

Good luck to the lad and for anyone going - enjoy

However the whole thing couldn’t have gone much worse. Fighters dropping out, resorting to having to literally giveaway tickets, and now the weather is an absolute washout. Got to feel for those who splashed out on on-pitch tickets and are now going to get soaked!

Manager Shortlist IF the worst happens
at 19:24 6 Jun 2025

I don’t think most in the football world saw it as as big a risk as your implying, or as surprising as your implying, that he’s been a huge success. Likewise they wouldn’t with Cochrane or Barry. As another poster said - been told it’s 99% likely Cochrane steps up if Frank goes. If he’s good enough for them he’s certainly good enough for us… even if you haven’t heard much about him

Out of interest, using a relevant but impossible example - would you favour someone like Manning over someone like Barry or Cochrane purely because he's been a manager for a few years?

Would rather Barry or Cochrane than someone like Steve Cooper. They have very relevant experience. As I say, can't think of many with experience that I'd be pleased about.

I think Frank goes but the Cochrane steps up.

If McKenna does end up at Brentford, what's your shortlist?

Cochrane, Rohl, Barry would all likely be on the list. Can't think of many "established" managers that I'd want.

Three PL clubs monitoring O’Shea
at 09:21 6 Jun 2025

I think the problem a lot of the new players have is that they've only been seen in the PL. All the "old boys" have built up a load of credit playing against dross in L1 and then exceeding expectations in the Championship. All the new boys have only been here whilst we've been beaten every week. Personally think it's led to distorted views on player quality

I think some people must wear blue tinted specs. He’s different class to Woolfy - hence there’ll be a load of people interested in him from the PL
