 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 0-1 Brentford - Match Report at 06:39:27
A lot of people on here weren’t at the game. It was wrecked by the awful referee. He lost control. They must have collected thirteen or fourteen blue shirts by the end. It was ridiculous. They turned the corners into a ruck and that was because the ref did done nothing. Thats why there was so much VAR. There should been two or three yellows by the time they turned their antics into a goal. It’s terrible for kids to see football played like that.We did really well in the second half and we were unlucky not to win let alone get a point. |
 | News Comment | Frank: Exactly as Difficult as I Expected at 06:30:00
Got no respect for a coach that bases his game plan on causing chaos. Never seen so much shirt pulling and holding. And the ref was useless. He lost control of it in the first five minutes when he let an obvious pull on Enciso go unpunished. If he’d given them two or three yellows in the first half as he should have it would have been a different game. We weren’t singing 1-0 to the referee at the end for nothing. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: VAR is Taking Away From the Game at 06:24:07
It wasn’t VAR that wrecked this game, it was the ref. He let the holding and shirt pulling go from the first foul on Enciso and it just became a free for all. That’s why there was so much VAR. It was chaos. If he’d stamped on it like a decent ref would have done it would have been a different game. There was only one team trying to play football. I think they got a couple of yellows late in the game which was just a joke. |
 | News Comment | Palmer: We Need to Sustain Pressure For Longer Periods at 06:16:33
Brentford aren’t good at set pieces. They are good at pushing the ref. I’ve never seen so much shirt pulling and holding in a game - almost all from them - and it happened because the ref let it get away from him and lost control. He had no grip on the game. That’s why we were all singing 1-0 to the referee at the end. The game was determined by the way it was so badly refereed. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: We Were at Full Stretch Even Before Red Card at 08:40:46
Some idiot comments as usual. We’d effectively spent nothing for x years. 5? 10? Do people really think a premiership squad costs £120m? What planet are they living on? Every single established club has three or four players worth more than that at this season’s values. Enciso has added quality and he’s not good enough for the Brighton squad. Get a brain some of you. |
 | News Comment | Town Spend Least in Premier League On Agents at 16:59:45
There is a lot of nonsense talked on here about how we are the biggest spenders in the Premier League this year. Obviously the club has to spend a significant amount of money this season, and did so. That was because the previous ten years we’d spent less than £20m net. To put that in perspective Arsenal and Chelsea spent over a billion, and most of the current top clubs over half a billion. West Ham spent over a quarter of a billion over the last five years, Forest over £200m, and Wolves spent £97m just to get out of the Championship. And of course the cost of players has risen much faster than inflation. To say we still have a lot of catching up to do is a huge understatement, as you can see from our league position. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: A Painful Game For Us, City Were Too Strong in All Aspects at 08:03:11
My only question is why Broadhead didn’t start. I thought he was one of our better players v Brighton and is stronger than Clarke. I agree with comment about midfield. We have lost the ball too much in midfield in every game I have watched. Morsy is important and has seemed less aggressive recently which unfortunately weakens the team. |
 | News Comment | Hurzeler: Never a Red Card at 15:41:20
It was stone wall red and it turned the whole game. Walton didn't look with it and it felt like the whole team was affected. We lost our concentration and fell apart. It was grim. As I've been saying no goalie in the league will want to see that replay |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 0-2 Brighton & Hove Albion - Match Report at 07:41:06
It was a tight game till the sending off that wasn’t. Yes Brighton had most of the ball but we had the chances. The sending off turned the game. We lost concentration and they suddenly looked more confident and aggressive. It was like we were all a bit concussed. Looking back at it, it was a stone wall red card. No ball anywhere and he went in to do serious damage. Wouldn’t be surprised if Walton not fit for Sunday. No goalkeeper will enjoy watching that go unpunished. |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 0-2 Everton - Match Report at 12:51:37
Its pointless looking for someone to blame. Morsy is the engine of this team and it doesn't work without his full on aggression. He’s on four yellows and it falls apart when he’s not full on. |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 1-1 Fulham - Highlights at 21:39:07
These highlights give a completely rubbish account of the game. As with the first two games they show very few of our good moments and all the opposition’s. Can’t TWTD do better than that?? |
