Good deal for all three parties I think! We got a fee for a player we aren’t going to use who will leave for free in 5 months. Fridge is getting regular football and is obviously wanted there.
Think Boro have got a top Championship quality, experienced defender for less than million!
Just goes to show how silly Premier League money is though. Not so sure he’s that much 10 times worse than Greaves or O’Shea (when you compare the fees)!

More of this constant spin from the management team since Saturday trying to convince us it was an amazing performance! Yes it was slightly better than the awful show against Northampton, but we drew 0-0 at home against an average League One team...hardly much to excited about and we now even further away from the play-offs! |

Obviously he's still on the club's payroll earning thousands a week so shouldn't he be developing his coaching skills with the Clubs academy squads, if not offering his services for free with state school kids in some capacity?

Fantastic effort from DM to reach 20 so early! Some of our best ever forwards not on this list...Whymark, David Johnson (mark 1), Mariner, Stewart, Bent (Darren not Marcus), Shefti, Mathie, Marshall! Thought Murph was unlucky not to be supporters Player of the Year last season, nailed on this year and in future will be listed with others mentioned! Great stuff!!! |

Really hope there 's some way we can get Jonny back in the New Year! Take the point about the progress of Teddy Bishop and the fact we're doing well without JW, however as the season goes on I really think if we can bring in one or two quality players it could be the difference between the play-offs or top two!
Maybe if we'd had JW as an option at Bolton we'd have sneaked a win? These types of games could be the difference at the end of the season! |
