dirtydingusmagee -Not really sure what you were trying to say but he also told me keep Broadhead free of injuries and he'll score goals and is a very good player. Trust me he knows a lot about football and has seen this guy several times at Sunderland and has his own views on him. He might have changed I'm only saying what someone else thought of him when he actually played for Sunderland. Everyone is entitle to their own views and comments but I know Ashton and McKenna are no mugs and totally trust their buying of players. They've brought well so far and may it continue. |

That was one hell of a performance from the team absolutely brilliant to watch. Everything about this club is brilliant at the minute from the directors to the cleaners great to be an Ipswich fan. I thought Sheffield Wednesday were the better team over 90 mins difference was Barnsley took their goals better. If we play our best then we will beat them as their defense wasn't great last night. Nomore4 really you think McKenna will be gone? why because we don't win a few games maybe draw them. So you'd rather dismantle all that the club has done in the training side for another manager to start over again? McKenna has a long term plan on the field and off the field. Getting rid of a manager is not always best he has a great back room and we should be proud of what's his done so far. Every team will hit bad times or bumps in the road through the season one of those things. Personally I'd stick with him even if we only get in the play offs football we are now watching is a lot more entertaining than what we've seen before so we all need to get behind the club and manager. |

McKenna best manager we've had in years even the players have remarked on how good and how intense the training is. It's a learning curve for him some people need to get off his back and accept some games we will lose some games just do go the way we want. Anyone see the Derby game on Sunday against Torquay? Derby were lucky not to have been beaten. Like us struggled to get a nice flow going probably the heavy pitch which we don't really see very often. Friend of mine also mentioned the grass was quite long probably a tactic to stop our passing game. We should have and could have put this match to bed by half time with all the misses but we kept going and got our rewards. But a lot of teams will struggle to get their games going on that sort of pitch hence why some teams got knocked out at the weekend. McKenna had a game plan never looked flustered and yet another win under his hat. Could easily of been a Barrow game like last season but it wasn't. We were patient and slowly but surely wore them down. Good to see players returning from injury get good game time along with Humphreys who I thought did really well last nice, We won another TV game what's not to like? On to Buxton at home where we will have a decent pitch and can play football as we are used to. |

When we went 4-2 what was formation 4 5 1 or did it remain 3 at the back? Maybe McKenna needs to change the team so we can defend these leads a bit more. Doesn't hurt sometimes to go a bit defensive to protect a lead. |
