 | Forum Thread | Town fans in Norwich? at 19:01 13 Sep 2025
My son is starting Uni in Norwich and I'm wondering if there are any venues for him to watch Town when they are on Sky (including the derby obviously). Are they any understanding landlords who tolerate Town fans living in enemy territory(!). |

Read on Popbitch (below) that Man City have cut ties with the very dodgy 8xbet.com. Isn’t it time that Town did the same? >> A Good Bet << Silver lining for blue Manchester It would take a hard heart not to laugh at the current travails of Man City. A league collapse, uncertain Champions League campaign and many insider voices predicting guilty verdicts and a relegation coming up. But there's one bit of good news. They are no longer sponsored by 8XBet. Until recently the Man City website proclaimed that "8Xbet is the official betting partner of Manchester City in Asia and provides a truly authentic online gaming experience to users globally." But with ties cut City can't really be linked with the scandal exploding around 8XBet. The brand suddenly disappeared from view, almost over night. Websites shuttered, social media channels inactive. Staff and customers at a loss. Literally as well as figuratively. https://agbrief.com/news/world/02/01/2025/the-overnight-disappearance-of-8xbet-a |

So many people asked, so I’ve set up an online petition to let the club know how many fans loved the gig-style artwork that graced the first few covers of Town’s programmes this season. Please sign and share people… https://chng.it/5xPTYQtkZW You may not have loved all the designs individually, but this fan-led concept is such a great one, and I hate to see our club kowtow to sponsors and partners when there is such a simple solution to the problem — simply ask the illustrators to remove any logos from their artwork. #itfc #dontrelegateted |

I understand this might seem kind of petty and irrelevant, but I just saw this as a rare occasion of the club putting a foot wrong (recently anyway), and they should be called out for it, especially when there is such a simple solution. |

You may have noticed that the excellent Call me Ted artwork was relegated to a gatefold at the back of the programme vs Everton. It was thought this was to do with it being the "No room for Racism" fixture, I wrote to the club to clarify. Turns out the sponsors didn't like them and they won't be on the cover again. In my opinion having their logo on an innovative cover design has far more value than appearing on a generic, standard design. Once again money talks (but has no taste). #dontrelegateted |

I have to add my pennyworth (and blatant plug for my own work)! If you’re ever in the Ipswich area you are free to visit our gallery in Holbrook, full of local artists! https://www.gallery.comehitherdesign.com/ …where you can purchase my own ITFC themed work (including the TWTD commissioned Sergeant Pepper poster), available online here: https://www.comehitherdesign.com/shop/ In terms of Suffolk artists (being biased) I‘d recommend my father! He’s a printmaker (etcher) of over 50 years, with much of his work focused on Suffolk. Available from our gallery, or online direct from him. Here is his latest work of Suffolk based subjects … https://www.glynnthomas.com/product-category/england/suffolk/ His work are original, hand printed works — not digital reproductions. You'll be owning an original, limited edition piece of art, not a mass-produced poster or print. [Post edited 18 Jan 2024 11:44]
