A decent signing with possibly one eye on next season. Interestingly, in my opinion, the player that turned the game yesterday was Morrison who i dislike . However an experienced journeyman that knows the game and put the fear of god into Kenlock and our midfield. He stood up to his old boss when he nailed Challobolah with a wink . My Point ? Imagine if we had taken him on loan , the melt down on this site would have been ...tick tick boom . As those great philosophers Faith No More sang "you want it all but you cant have it" You cant please all the people so to twist or stick with this season or next ?? |

We had just lost to West Ham in the FA Cup semi final, THey came to Portman Road for the last game of the season and we ‘beat' them 4-1. Beattie got the ball , breezed them out of the way and thundered the ball into the goal north Stand end. I was 11 at the time ,i idolised him and will never forget that goal and the feeling of how proud he made me feel to be Town fan, Met him a few times since then and always a gentleman. He is a-true Legend in every sense ,RIP |

we had as much chance of getting to Wembley via the FA Cup than the play offs !! Too good? We didn't have a single shot on or near target , Bright start and then after 20 mins back to normal. As soon as the crowd asked for change you could see it wasn't going to happen . He had no intention of drawing that game but whats even more disappointing i am not sure he had any of winning it either |

season ticket holder who isn't always a fan of MM , been critical of his style and dont like his interactions with fans but aren't we 2 points off the play offs at xmas and 2nd highest scorers in the league (think thats still correct?). Reading some of these posts it sounds like we staring at relegation.? i would have taken this position at start of season. whether I do at the end is another matter !! Cheer up and merry Xmas. |

Before I am berated I firmly believe that MM has to go. I obviously don't know as much as some on here about our financial standing if ME were to "get out of our club" but, yes the club is a mess. If it wasn't flat then the atmosphere disintegrated when the team was announced. However, I don't think the chanting on Saturday, particularly at that part of the game ,was helpful to anyone but Birmingham. Whether you are for or against , I trust we all want to see ITFC win, the chanting , some of which wasn't particularly inventive, doesn't spur a team who badly need our support on. To go down to 'div 3' will set us back years with or without any of the protagonists still at the helm so lets get behind ITFC (Our team) tomorrow night, get over that line then vent the anger and frustration. Hopefully at that point the clear out may begin. |

A good performance . Thought we played well with and without Skuse. I do think that some under estimate his part in the team but having said that Ward played some lovely triangles with Lawrence and Emmanuel. What a difference a positive attitude to the game makes to everyone. Also well done to the central North Stamd. As a season ticket holder who sits in the Cobbold it was nice to hear them singing and getting behind the team . Has section 6 moved ? All in all positive . I think the end of season will bring changes that we want/need but for now its about consolidating what we have , supporting the players and trying to enjoy 3 months of football . There isn't anything going to change the owners mindset and i think that we will see this changes then so until then COYB |

However, these are reports from a 'source' and there MAY not be an ounce of truth in them, its speculation month for the press, What i do love is the way that the club are immediately lambasted as if we have bought or loaned any of these. my heart still wants to be with MM and i am trying to be positive that we are in touching distance of the play offs but .... I am afraid i have to agree with the comments of the game last night. 1st half was a semi decent performance but the 2nd half was woeful. Having said that I think Hull are the best team seen i have seen here in a while and could have stepped through the gears at any time. I fear we are drifting to mid table mediocrity for a variety of reasons , one style approach, no plan B, no creativity, players having to fit into unknown positions, teams anticipating our predictable approach. However, my biggest concern for now is next season and beyond. If, as i know suspect, we don't go up then this squad is clearly not good enough and i cannot presently see where we go from there. I would envisage around at least 5 changes that would have to be made . My other concern is that we will not bring in anyone who isn't any better than we have. as better players won't come here to play for a mid table team with one tactic.. God I hope i am wrong otherwise we are in for a long hard few years after a brief flirt of optimism |

Didn't think it was an inspiring win but one thing whether you favour MM or not you can't deny the teams spirit to go till the end. Varney and pitman combined wonderfully for the winner . Sorry to bring this up again but 59!posts when we win. 179 when we lose? I am not sure how but again we are in play off position. MM is looking at loan market . Nothing more we can do than get behind the team for the run in now |

I am not, for one minute, saying we are playing exciting football , in fact Preston was one of the worst in a long time. I agree we can be one dimensional, it needs freshening up and that sometimes MM decisions are baffling but the way some have attacked after this defeat is a little over zealous to say the least. It almost as if there is a wish for MM/team to fail and then to get over a "told you so". I cant get away from the FACT we are 6 points off 3rd place. Now i am not going out on a limb to say we will get that but please get behind the team. Everyone has an opinion, i respect that as other should when they don't agree whether you be lovers or haters but in the current position are we really dead and buried and the talk of sacking and mid table already? |

Interesting 57 posts when we win over 100 when we lose ? Good solid performance away from home . Yes, we should have buried it and yes they put pressure on at the end but no more than any team playing at home scrapping for their lives would do. Skuse and Douglas worked their socks off today as well as Berra. Would take play offs all day and that's where we are . I am smiling |
