Terry Butcher would be an absolute disaster of a choice.
I had the personal misfortune here in Australia to see him manage Sydney FC and turn them from Champions into no hopers. A 10 team league he finsihed 8th, the football was terrible to watch, ugly, and tactics wise he was clueless. He couldn't hack it in the A-League and now manages in the SPL with Inverness. What on earth would possess anyone to think he's going to take a 'step-up' to Championship level and lead Ipswich to the Premier League. If Evans/Clegg choose ths man I might just have to choose another club |
