 | News Comment | Morsy: The Margins Are Fine, We Have to Grow and Get Better at 09:17:36
How many times are we going to hear the same thing? About how close we were, and how we need to improve? SO why haven't we? Even though we were thumped by Man City and Liverpool, there were still flashes of growth. But against the worst team in premiership history, we showed nothing. We haven't learnt from any pf our past games, we haven't grown at all, and we will continue to use these lame excuses every time we get embarrassed. Its been such a fantastic last few years supporting this club, and I fully expected relegation from day 1. So lets stop with the excuses now and look at how we can bounce straight back next season. |
 | News Comment | Al-Hamadi Close to West Brom Loan at 11:35:29
Lets be fair, we brought him with the intention of nurturing him to be a back up striker for our second year in the Championship, which obviously never happened. The Premier League is way out of his reach, and hopefully sometime back in the second tier will do him good. If he gets plenty of game time and makes an impression, we can look at selling him onto a championship team next season. If we get relegated, then he will have had a bit more game time in preparation for next season. Win Win for all parties. |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 0-6 Manchester City - Match Report at 22:47:19
Anyone remember back in 2001 when we beat Man City 2-1. It confirmed their relegation and got Joe Royle the sack?? I’m not saying there are comparisons, but look where city are now. Our success isn’t going to happen overnight. If we get relegated then we come back the following year even stronger. Stop bitching about us losing to a world class team. Yes the score line was poor, but what do we expect? Lots of players in our team who are well out of their depth in the premier league. But after what they have achieved the last 3 seasons, they all fully deserve this chance. If we stay up, we have a load of top championship players with premier league experience ready to be sold to the championship. Good business if you ask me. If we get relegated, we have a squad of experienced players ready to go again. We are looking at long term, not overnight success. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Villa Will Be A Great Test For Us at 08:08:50
I can’t see us getting anything from this game except some great experience. As long as we give a good account of ourselves and keep improving. COYB. |

Let’s be fair. We’re all human. If our competitors offered to double our salary to join them then we’d take it. So why wouldn’t he? Personally I don’t think he’ll go and I hope he doesn’t. But if he does, then Good luck to him. No matter what happens he will always be a legend at our club. |
 | News Comment | Coventry City 1-2 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 22:16:48
Very hard fought. Coventry were better than us in many areas tonight. But we had the best chances. Again, could’ve scored several. Great game, great result, 1 more point!!! |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Players Handling Big Three-Game Week Really Well at 11:18:44
Not an easy game. Coventry have nothing to gain from this match, and therefore, they will sit back and defend so as to not lose. Gain a point tonight, knowing they will beat QPR on Saturday. It will be for us to break them down and get a few early goals, which will not be easy at all. |

2 points from 2 home games isn’t good enough. Should have been 4 up by half time in both matches. 2 very tough away games incoming and need 4 points from those two at the very least. I still think we’ll finish top two, but should be well clear by now. |

 | News Comment | Leeds United 4-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 16:57:23
Disappointed? yes. Surprised? No. We were always due a bad patch at some point and this could be it. I feel we will also lose to Leicester, but I’d rather lose to these big clubs when it doesn’t impact our league position. We are second, and will still be in the new year. The other 3 teams in the top 4 were all premier league teams last year while we were league 1. And look at us mixing with them now. Yes, today was disappointing but to be honest, if we were offered 6th place now, all of us would take it. And I’d still hold my head up and be proud of what the team has achieved this season. The teams around us will drop points in the new year and our fate is still in our hands. So let’s put today behind us, not have too high expectations for Boxing Day and we go again against QPR and get our season back on track. COYBs. |

Obviously disappointed. But that’s football. But there’s always a silver lining. With the points difference at the moment, a win at Carrow Road could be the win that sends us to the premiership…..?? |

Well done Connor, I’m so glad you’re a Blue. But he needs to stop!!! Otherwise some big clubs will be showing interest in January. |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 3-1 Millwall - Match Report at 08:32:28
Great performance with a very worthy result. 5 games until the midway season and if we can get 10 points firm those 5 games then we will be well on our way. |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 4-2 Preston North End - Match Report at 17:15:30
Just wow!!! As we are approaching the quarter point of the season, I am so happy. 20 points clear of the relegation zone. 11 points clear of the last playofff place. 8 points clear for an automatic spot. We sit second. We have beaten the team currently 3rd. We have beaten the team currently 4th. Although I still believe Leicester will be run away winners, I know we can compete for promotion. What a great time to be an Ipswich fan!!!! COYBs!!!! |
