Hey I lived in Harefield for years! Loved it, near London but basically a country village. |
| Forum Thread | Amazing set of results, at 21:59 9 Apr 2024
Coventry losing means they may have nothing to play for on the 30th, Huddersfield might be relegated on the final day, Southampton winning keeps them sort of in the hunt when they play Leicester, not to mention Leeds & Leicester!! Was actually hoping Norwich would hold on and maybe get into fifth so we could avoid them if need be. |
| Forum Thread | Something is bugging me about SKY today, at 16:19 1 Apr 2024
On two occasions they've said if Southampton win all their remaining games they'll be promoted. Don't get it, if they do they'll finish on 101 points, which will still mean they'll finish either 3rd or 4th; as if the other three teams win all their other games it will end up Leicester 103, Ipswich 102 and Leeds 101. What am I missing? |
| Forum Thread | Wasn't sure what result I wanted tonight, at 22:02 23 Feb 2024
Still feel I'd rather have four clubs going for two places rather than three going for one so not too upset with this result. Leicester were imperious for 75 minutes but seem to have a mentality problem. |
| Forum Reply | Leeds and Norwich online reaction to it going 3-3 at 10:26 23 Feb 2024
The main Leeds forum is very odd, they seem to talk very little about how the other three clubs in the top four are doing, it's all focused on themselves. Even their 'Other Teams matches' focuses on the Premier League for some weird reason! |

completely miss to report on an important Championship goal, and it would have to be us! Obviously because of their obsession with raking over every Premier League VAR decision for about five minutes. |
| Forum Thread | Accepted fourth place now, at 17:30 10 Feb 2024
which is a brilliant achievement. Biggest enjoyment now is going to be watching Southampton and Leeds fretting about finishing third. I think we can beat West Brom in the play-offs, plus we now have some great attacking options. |
| Forum Thread | Bookies odds at 18:25 16 Jan 2024
I'm very surprised at the current odds for us to win the title, we're still at 8/1 behind Leicester with Leeds and Southampton both at 12/1. Now I'm not the most pessimistic of supporters and I reckoned we had a good chance of 2nd a few weeks ago, but even I feel we will eventually be overtaken by one or both of the above. I just wonder what the bookmakers are seeing which makes them still fancy us, despite our dodgy run. Or is it just the fact we're three points ahead of 3rd? |
| Forum Reply | Travis and Morsy in the middle at 18:21 16 Jan 2024
Don't see this at all as they seem to be very similar players. I would have thought Travis & Luogo or Travis & Taylor a better combo. Or of course the original and the best Morsy & Luongo. |

Good summary that. I too was well impressed with Woolfenden, looked very composed. Best feature of the whole match was us playing out from the back despite enormous pressure from Leicester, and producing dangerous attacks from it. I don't think they're used to that. |
| Forum Reply | Paul Cook back to the Championship? at 13:00 21 Dec 2023
I reckon Warnock might go back there for the rest of the season, could do a lot worse, especially as they're in a bit of a relegation scrap. How there is ever any debate about Lambert being our worst ever manager completely mystifies me. Took us down with a squad capable of staying up, did nothing at all in League One except promote himself and agitate for a longer contract which he amazingly managed to do. The fact he's an ex-budgie is just the cherry on the cake. Terrible, terrible manager (as many Stoke, Villa and Wolves fans seem to concur with). |
| Forum Reply | Of all the impressive stats Kieran McKenna has, at 11:01 18 Dec 2023
And with him in charge (plus a few additions to the squad), I'd even be confident of a mid-table finish in The Premier League. That's something I never thought I'd say either. |
