This is just total incompetence. I want to hear about good news like everyone else but Jewell is so very naive. He went public on St Ledger, set expectations and again, we are the wounded party. Have some dignity PJ and pipe down, stop joking with the media (highly inappropriate IMO at the moment) and focus on sorting your rather sorry side out. Mid Jan and the clock is ticking fine Sir, get on with plugging gaps, stop feeling sorry for yourself, take your hands out of your pockets and lets turn Blackpool over with a passion and desire sadly lacking of late!! And stop talking to the press, take a vow of external silence! |

The trouble is, even if and its a big IF, we get back to winning ways (always a pleasure to have one of our bogeys side up next) we are clearly so terribly inconsistent that we could be in purple patches and out of them very quickly. There is such a bad vibe and I am shocked at the behaviour of Jewell and his clear lack of any understanding about any of his players. I run a Youth Team and know more about my players after one hour of training and a warm up pre a game than Jewell does and he has them all week. For me, he is a clown and is hoping that things will surely turn around. It does not look very likely Mr Jewell and as for Clegg, he is also so head in the clouds that the quicker he goes too, the better. Rant over, feel better now |

Given that the manager surely sees every player nigh on every day, why is it taking them so long to gel..?? Why bring a player in on the Friday and play him on the Saturday..? Clearly no time to gel.... What exactly do the players do each day...? Have they been properly introduced..?? I am bored with PJ's nonsense. I have been watching Town for the last 30 years but never have I seen us so clueless. I support the Club not any individual and do not like hire and fire but Mr Jewell seems out of his depth and needs to focus his future on media work IMO! |

The last home game me and my lad went to, was Norwich. Deja Vu last night against a well drilled side with pace and movement. I worry about Jewell. His body language is very tense and negative, maybe that's why Derby always lost at home too..??? Last night was painful, praise be for Chopra as he was the heart and soul and a joy to watch. I like Cresswell but feel he tried too hard sometimes, not much came off for him. I cringed every time Delaney got the ball, strikers will have a field day against us with the weakest centre backs I have seen at this level for many a year. The midfielders are all the same and Leadbitter offers very little for me. Anyway, Soton were light years ahead and worrying to see Leeds beat Hull 4-1, they are due here soon!! Big 6 pointer methinks v P'boro!!! Happy days...... |
