Was looking forward to going today. Had not been since Norwich. After some recent recent results I was more than hopeful of a good performance. Oh how wrong I was. I take my hat off to anyone who attends each week. Only 2 players stood out - Webster & bishop. Most were poor but Knudsen & iorfa were shocking. Surlely it's time to give out own young fullbacks a run. They can't be any worse. I feel sorry for sears being constantly played out of position & then taking stick for it. Why oh why was Celina not on for longer & why was he left for 13minutea standing on the side line when there were numerous opportunities to bring him on. This was my 4th visit of the season after giving up my season ticket. Sadly this will be my last till macarthy goes. |

At home to a much weakened Preston we need to go all out for the win. That doesn't mean throwing 4 stikers on the pitch it means playing everyone in there best positions. 2 up front with 2 wide men would be my answer. Preston seem to be very short on wide defenders so let's test them. My guess is he will play at least 3 attackers & lump the ball over midfield & hope. Not the football i want to watch. Let's hope I am wrong. Either way we should still be too strong for them |

The man hasn't got a clue about what the majority of fans want. We all know a new manager is not going to get an improved budget. For me it's not about the money it's about the entertainment level. I believe a new younger manager will use our players better thus providing more entertainment. First game Ive been to this season. If this is the new positive attack minded Ipswich town then I am very disappointed. Different personnel but same uninspiring display. Bolton were awful but we managed to struggle especially in the first half. Didz was excellent second half & deserved his goal. Celina will cause panic in most defences but he is not a Macarthy man so will only be a bit part player. Don't think I will be rushing back. The reason the crowd is so low is because the level of entertainment is so low |

Will be attending for the first time this season after giving up my season ticket. Given the problems Bolton are having I expect to see us go all out for a win with a nice early goal unsettling them. Would love to see skuse left out but I know that won't happen. This is MaCarthys chance to show me & many other doubters that he has changed his ways. If he wants us to play this way someone needs to teach the central defenders (chambers) & the defensive midfielder (Scuse) to not be scared of the ball. In my opinion Scuse needs to be dropped & a more foward thinking players needs to step into this position. Until that happens we will have more defenders than attackers on the pitch. That will never lead to attractive football. Mick will never change.

As much as I like to watch Lawrence play I think he & the other loanees should be left out. We know what they are capable of but are unlikely to be here next season. Should be putting in a couple of untried youngsters to see how they cope in readiness for next season
