I don’t think she should lose her job given she took the advice she did in an attempt to pay the correct tax - but expecting her not to get any flak for it after the scrutiny she’s placed onto Tories who have been in the news with similar headlines is just silly
The loyalty you expect to be shown to KM was betrayed by him first, by recruiting players to take the place of the ones who had got him to the Premier League.
Take the Wolfy example - performed well (as can be expected) in the first 2 games of last season, Dara was crap against Wimbledon, yet straight into the team for the next game. Where’s the loyalty you would expect to exist between Wolfy and KM there?
Think the club treated those back to back players pretty badly over the last year to be honest but have only paid the price this summer
I also think defensive pairings should have one front foot defender and one back foot defender, Wolfie being a good example of a back foot defender and both O’Shea and Greaves being front foot defenders. I think Greaves’ best games for us have come next to Wolfy and I think that’s why!
Centre back is a position where the impact cannot be quantified by stats, given the amount of defending which is position based - I think it was Nesta who said that by the time defenders have to make a tackle they’ve already made a mistake.
You can’t read pal. I said we didn’t have cover in Morsy’s role, we have Elkan Baggott in Woolfy’s role but he’s not good enough. The fact you’ve listed 3 players that don’t play centre midfield says it all.
We have no idea how often these things are done under gentlemen’s agreements though, given we only find out about these things when they are broken. Would imagine agents know far more about ‘the done thing’ than anyone on here
