Would be a rubbish replacement for our captain who has been basically ever present given he couldn’t manage a 38 game season, let alone a 46 game season. I’m really not keen on the idea of expecting him to play Saturday Tuesday
I don’t dispute that the way he sold the club was a good thing - unfortunately the only redeeming feature. We also shouldn’t forget that he held onto a stake, so the incentive was there for him to see the club in good hands, it’s not like he did it completely selflessly
He ran the club with complete incompetence, never had any football people around it - invest what you want with that structure and you’ll get nowhere, let alone on a shoestring budget
