Are you saying that it would be incredibly pathetic to continuously remind them that it’s 14! 14! when their club is much bigger and more successful than ours and realistically operates at a level we may never hope to achieve?

Likely a guarantee of first team football in the season leading up to a World Cup.
Doesn’t explain why Swansea as I’m sure other clubs would have given him the same assurances, but highly likely McKenna couldn’t give him that. |

That’s really poor of Clarke on a number of levels.
In one sentence he has knifed a young goalie who has been included in a number of squads (because he’s ready, you’d have to think), his training staff, his own decision-making ability and the general standard of Scottish-goalkeepers.
Everybody has a bad day.
Back the lad, get his confidence back up.
If your public view is he’s not ready for a squad place against Iceland, then you’ve back yourself into a corner where all you can do is drop him.

Yep, as soon as Morsy’s player drags him into the box, McNeill goes straight into the space where Morsy had been and Taylor is miles off him so can’t get there.
As has been said, solid but that side of his game isn’t the best. |

Glee at the thought McKenna might be off to Spurs.
When was the last time one of their managers was ‘poached’ by a bigger and better club rather than unceremoniously dumped for presiding over yet another season of abject mediocrity?
When we spunk our parachute payments on Ashley Barnes, our youth players go on strike to force a move and two seasons out of the Prem we’re closer to relegation than the play-offs, that would be the time to gloat you’d think. |
